Lol! Awww Poor guy. DH freaks about even talking with the doctor about DTD so I can't imagine what he would say about IUI.

Too funny!
Are you thinking of doing IUI with Femara or go to IUI with injections?

I think we want to do a few Femara/IUI cycles before moving on to injectables/IUI. I need to take baby steps We'll see if the RE will agree to our plan tomorrow, though.

Nicole, ask your RE what they think about DHEA. A lot of RE's out there are jumping on the bandwagon and having their patients take it before IVF cycles. And I got pregnant twice after taking it when they told me NO WAY would I ever get pregnant on my own.

Missy, is it worth getting your DHEA/testosterone levels tested before taking it? I have looked into it a little since I saw both you and Celena taking it. And it scares me a little bit since before MA I had late/irregular ovulation, and high testosterone levels can contribute to that.

LOL, Nicole. I guess he's kind of right since he hasn't personally tried directly inserting into your uterus (or, at least I hope he hasn't).

I never had my dhea tested... I just read about the DHEA on the internet and took it. At that point they had already told me I wasn't going to get pregnant so I figured why not?
Please don't take it without talking to your doctor, I don't want your treatment to get messed up by something I read on the internet!

Nicole, I didnt think of it before but the spearmint tea also acts in a way that decreases testosterone. Im not sure how much, have you checked into it at all?

Tobi, yeah that's actually why I decided to try the tea when you suggested it (even though I hate tea ) What I found said that it specifically has been shown to help testosterone-induced unwanted hair growth, which I sometimes get and is why I tend to think I would have high, rather than low, DHEA levels. But who knows? Maybe I will get the bw done

Ok, that put images in my head that were just wrong, giggle. At least your dh knows what it is, even If he doesn't know what it's called. Of course, you won't need it after you get your bfp this cycle.
