HI ladies.. I had an appt with my RE today - she confirmed I've ovulated (I knew that already) but she needed to confirm it for herself so she can give me progesterone suppositories to use twice a day. I'm about to start tonight but I have some questions:

Do they get messy? I mean should I be wearing a liner when I use it?


What kinds of symptoms/side effects can I expect? I've heard I can get pretty convincing "pregnancy symptoms" but is there anything specific I should be expecting?

And how long do I have to wait after using it before DTD?

Any other info is appreciated!!

I'm using them, but only once a day at bedtime

I thought they would be messy, but they aren't too bad...I'd say the first 2 days they were more so...I haven't wore a pad since the first night because nothing came out except when I used the bathroom (sorry for TMI)...It did make me feel really "wet" and it gave me a lot of CM, which feels kind of gross...I'd say if that bothers you then to wear a panty liner.

I've had some symptoms, sick to my stomach, hungry, tired, tender breasts (tonight they feel really heavy and full)...The first couple of days I felt really weird, but I think my body is starting to adjust to them more.

I can't help you on DTD, we haven't done it since I started the progesterone.

Same with me except we DTD within a half hour of putting it in. And I used the gel, not the pill type inserts but I have heard they are both equally messy.

What kinds of symptoms/side effects can I expect? I've heard I can get pretty convincing "pregnancy symptoms" but is there anything specific I should be expecting? Like Megan it did make me wetter and I did produce a lot of CM. Besides that I didn't really have any side effects.

And how long do I have to wait after using it before DTD? I was told to wait half hour.
