I am nervous today. Being on this board brings about every emotion known to man I swear. I am nervous because after watching Missy lose her baby this week, then hearing about everything Celena is going through with her pregnancy it's just hard to be excited on a day like this. Today is my first ultrasound with this pregnancy. I don't even know what to expect. I don't know how to feel. Everyday when I log on here I find stories of success, hope and joy. Then you can scroll down one or two posts and read the saddest stories of loss, devastation and despair. I myself have posted the best and the worst. I have a tremendous love for you ladies. I have repsect for you. I have empathy for you. I can't think of another place where such raw emotion, joy and heartbreak are shared. I am so grateful for all of you and not matter the outcome for myself today I wanted you to know how much I love all of you. I cry for you, tears of joy and tears of heartbreak.
Thank you for being there for all of us....

Here is my bean! So far it looks great! Baby is actually measuring a day a head and his/her heartbeat was a steady 112. That is normal for this point. The tech reassured me that it would speed up in the next week. The only down point was that I have another huge subchorionic bleed. You can see the dark spot next to the sac....and acutally as the tech scanned around the baby the bleed almost completely surrounded the baby. I am to be on pelvic rest and stay on my meds. I hope and pray this bean makes it...I really do. I did have the bleeds with all four of my previous pregnancies that I lost, but they don't think the losses were due to that. With the two babies that made it past 8 weeks the bleeds had resolved themselves by that point! Pray for us! And thank you for your love and support!

I was just thinking something similar this morning. I have gotten a lot of information here that would have been hard to find anywhere else. It's been really great even if I do feel like an oddball compared to everyone else most of the time.

This board was what got me through all the ups and downs while TTCAL before I had my rainbow baby. Now back in it again, this is the place that seems to really understand the all the emotions and craziness that is part of TTCAL.
I host another board and am active in a PR but this is the one place that you always know people will understand what you are going through.
Good luck with your u/s today Julie!!

TTCAL really is a pretty amazing group to be part of

Julie, you have a way with words I really admire. You're always able to say just what I'm feeling. I know we don't know each other very well but I look forward to your posts, the good and the bad. It's like an extended family I've never met. I really hope your u/s goes well today. Please keep us updated. Waiting to hear from the ladies here makes me just as nervous as my own appts.

You know Rebecca, we could remedy that never have met part. When the snows lets up, we should meet somewhere with the kids and have lunch....just a thought!
Thanks ladies....I love this board and maybe I will have to blog about it today...some of the most amazing strongest women I have ever met!

I truly and completely hope all is well with your bean.
I know what you mean. Although I am new to this board, I feel like it's the only place I can be. It's right in the middle and everyone here feels the same way I do because we've been there and done that.

Julie, i'm happy to hear baby is growing so good!!! i'm sorry about the SCH...I had one in my last pregnancy, and it was horrible...I hope you never bleed and it resolves itself soon...I didn't find out about mine till after I bled, so maybe all will be well with lots of rest and water (I was told to drink lots of water)...I'll keep you in my prayers (((hugs)))
