Aww thank you so much Missy! I am determined to get back to my high school weight! Before I started TTC and going through everything. I gained 50lbs total and I'm going to lose it all! My friend and I are gym buddies and are going 4-5 times a week right now. I also started eating healthier and eating still what I want just smaller portions. My doctor also told me to eat 5 meals a day instead of 3 because of how my body metabolizes. You can do it Missy I have faith in you! If you or anyone else has any questions or wants to do this together then lets do it ladies! Maybe we can post daily when work out lose weight and cheer each other on.

I have been trying to watch what I eat and not drink so much ice tea. I have also started walking outside when it's not to cold. I would rather walk outside then inside on a treadmill. After my mom passed away I really didn't care about anything so I have gained some weight. I am hoping to be able to loose some of it.

Congrats Katie on your weight loss.

Thanks Stacey! Just thought I would share something with you. Walking is great exercise but my doctor told me that until your at the weight you want walking isn't going to help take weight off. He told me it is more of a way to keep your weight the same and suggested riding a bike. Just wanted to share his advice

First off - congrats Katie! 8 lbs is awesome!

I'm jumping on the bandwagon. I have 2 months ahead of me where we can't TTC, so I'm going to try to lose what I can during that time (I'm hoping 10 - 15 lbs). I'm going back to weight watchers this Saturday bc it has worked great for me in the past, and I really need to be accountable to someone! DH and I also got a treadmill recently, so I'm going to do the Couch to 5K workout, which is supposed to turn non-runners(like me!) into runners in 9 weeks. We'll see about that one.....

Kristen, Couch to 5K is a fantastic program!!!

And Katie, congrats on being almost 20% done with your goal How neat! Do you have a reward system set up along the way? Sometimes that can help

I actually have to refrain from doing anything too physical, because I've been told that losing weight could hinder our pregnancy efforts. My BMI was underweight when we got pregnant with Drew, and now it's finally in the healthy level, although at the lower end of the healthy level... So I walk, like was mentioned before, as a means of maintaining my weight and still getting exercise in. It feels so weird not to work out, I used to run half and full marathons, so seeing other runners out there in the beautiful San Diego sunshine makes me jealous.

Congrats Katie!!

I'll join in too. I lost alot of weight 2 years ago and 10 lbs has crept back on in the last few months with the stress of my recent loss and inability to exercise (from the surgery restrictions). Holiday goodies everywhere didn't help either

My plan is to eat healthier and get on my spin bike more. After I had my big weight loss I took up spinning and it has really helped me to maintain my weight. I shot for 45-60 minutes 4-6 times a week.

Good luck to everyone and I cannot wait to hear everyone's success stories.

Thank you ladies! It feels great to know that I'm not doing this alone. I plan on buying some new clothes when I get 1/2 way to my goal! And I'm SUPER excited!
