The nurse told me to take it for 14 days unless I get a positive test or AF starts....I don't plan on taking it for that long...I never got AF 14 days after I ovulated any way (even before I was having problems), so i'm thinking Sunday night will probably be fine to stop the progesterone...I'm just curious if AF can start while taking progesterone? I'm cramping really bad, but i'm not spotting at all, so it's confusing me.

I don't think you should, if it's a good dose.. my RE told me to take the progesterone and not stop until we get a negative beta at 14DPO.. and then AF will come only after I stop.

I was told AF would not come while taking progesterone and to stop after 13dpo.

I checked, it's only 25mg, is that enough to stop AF from coming?

Hmm I wonder why my doctor has me on such a low dose?

It just makes me wonder if AF is around the corner...my cramps are pretty bad...anyone else get cramping? I read online that the suppositories can cause cramping, but they haven't the whole time i've been on them, so I don't think that's what it's from....in my normal cycles I always started to spot at 9 dpo.

Ever since my loss in 2009 I get cramping every month

I wish I could help you out more. I would ask your doctor why such a low dose, I think that 200mg is the standard.

I hope you are pregnant!!!

Your chart is ON FIRE. Would the progesterone be responsible for that?

i'm not sure if it's the progesterone affecting my chart or not...I had pretty high temps last month too (when I wasn't on progesterone)...I guess we'll see what tomorrow's temp is ...cramping has eased up...I thought for sure i'd have to take an Ibprofen about an hour ago...I usually get cramps, but not till a day or two before AF, and like I said, I have no spotting...Just makes me wonder if it's the progesterone...I also don't think i'm on high of enough mg for it to keep AF away, so we'll see.

Ive taken 100mg during ttc and when I did that AF showed on the my 12th day like clock work. If I took 200mg, AF would still come while taking it, but not until like 14dpo......if your only taking 25mg, I would think she would show, if she's supposed to that is.....(wishing she dosent!) Also, progesterone can alter your temps, makes them stay up higher than usual, I never got a temp drop until the day of AF, would stay up until then. Good luck, praying for a BFP for you!

When I was on 100mg AF def showed up. I did notice, however that my luteal phase went immediately from 10 days to 12 with the 100 mg. I am hoping the switch to 200 will be the reason this bean sticks.

I always thought that AF would not come ono Progesterone but my last cycle, AF showed while on the progesterone. I asked my nurse about it and she said that yes, it can.
