How many August DDC losses do we have here?

Just like the storm of BFPs we had here a couple of weeks ago, it seems like we've also had a lot of August DDC losses. I've never been in a DDC on JM before, so maybe that many losses is the norm, but it still seems like a lot.

Who here was in the August DDC or due in August (2011) but miscarried? I feel like we need our own mini support group for dealing with our fresh grief. Hold each others hands or something.

I was due August 25th.

Unfortunately when you get that big of a group of pregnant women together you're going to have a lot of losses. I hosted Pregnancy Loss for over a year, it's about normal (though the August DDC was large so there were more, but still proportionate).

i know we had upwards of twenty or so losses. i remember thinking it was an abnormally high number of losses for a ddc. i think its pretty hard on a ddc to lose so many. BIG hugs august ladies, i am so sorry you all lost so many

Me, too, Tracy, although I hadn't joined the June DDC.

Brittanie, you are probably right- it's probably because August is a pretty large DDC to begin with.

I was March and August. After the first loss I wasn't going to join August until I knew things were ok. I never made it. It's hard to believe my first DDC group is coming up soon.
