Is this even possible??

Here's my background timeline:

Started misoprostol for missed miscarriage 12/7/10
D&C 12/17/10
2nd D&C for missed 1cm piece 1/7/10 (friday)

I spotted and had some light bleeding that was brownish but now I am having red bleeding and feeling like it is AF. It is the consistency of my usual AF which is kinda like snot, just really gooey and I haven't had that type of bleeding since using the misoprostol or having the D&C's, the bleeding I had through all of that was just liquid. But now as of this morning it is my AF consistency, is it possible this is AF?!?!?!?

I have no idea. I do hope that you recover quickly from your ordeal. It sounded like a nightmare. I would normally say to ask your doctor, but it seems like you had a run of bad doctors for a while.

It is probably from the D&C, it will take 4-6 weeks for AF to start. You should call your doctors office and see what they say, stranger things have happened!

Dr's nurse just called for my followup from the D&C (was waiting on this that's why I didn't call) and I told her about the change in consistency and she said it is likely my period. However, I'm not holding my breath since that's what the DR said my big gushes were and look how that turned out! hehe oh well I guess the good thing is if they believe it is my AF then we will be able to TTC again right away. My followup is scheduled for Friday so we'll see what happens!
