Ooooh...I totally forgot this thread was running up here. I would never have known if Celena hadn't emailed me!

But here I am

Let's see:

The difference between me and DH is 2 years and 12 days. I make fun of him for those 12 days when he is 3 years older than me

My favorite dress is a navy blue 3/4 sleeves one. I only have one pic in it, the bottom is fitted, so it conceals my "trouble spots" (belly). I wear it as often as I can without obviously only having one dress! Lol.

My dog (s) names are: (deep breath) Nadia Grace, Zara Jane, Rhett Rhetford, Vixen Elizabeth, and Silas Ray Lewis

That is five of them!! We have no other critters around here. Minus the chipmunk pair that lives in our front tree. I have some pics of the dogs (it is gonna be a lot!)

How did you and DH meet? LOL...online

He found me while searching for a friend of his on Facebook...and kept requesting to be my friend (even though I did not know him and kept denying him!). Finally, I relented and we went on a few dates after talking for a couple months. But, after that, I went back with my old a$shole boyfriend for 8 months or so. VERY shortly after me and the ex broke it off for good, there he was again, asking me out. I still tease him about being a stalker. The rest is history.
What was your wedding like? Very simple. We got married in a park up by my parents house. Outside. I wore a dress my mom made me. I was five months pregnant

It was about 100 people (most of whom were my side of the family). The reception was at my parent's house. It was very BBQ style and I loved it! What I sort of wanted for myself.

What is your favourite thing to do to relax? READ!! I read everything I can. It is the ultimate for me. And taking long hot showers. That is another fav.
What is your favourite 'date night' activity that you share with DH? Probably playing games. We really have not done it in a while, but we used to play tons of games (he always kicks my butt at Monopoly). We need to plan another game night soon.

What's your favorite dessert? Brownies...hands down. I can demolish those things! Lol. And the local dessert around here is called Smith Island Cake. They make it with 9 THIN layers of cake, each with frosting between them. I love the red velvet variety...but that is my favorite "special ocassion dessert."
What's your favorite snack? Can I see a pic of your snack cupboard? Currently I am a little obsessed with cheese and crackers (triscuits). But I go between lots of snack food. I will snap a pic of the cabinet as soon as I wake up more!

Our dogs are actually long-haired dachshunds

Hot-dog dogs with hair. But I can see how you would think they were spaniels from the pics I chose. Their noses are longer, but two of those pics are of puppies...it takes a while for their noses to grow!

And fun vacations! I have been on a few:

A weekend trip with the "girls" to NYC. It was over Christmas time (well before hubby/baby)

This was a cruise we went on years and years ago. But it was soooo fun. This was taken in Lapadee

And this is my FAVORITE vacation. We go every year to my aunts house over the 4th of July. The whole family comes (about 40 people) and we play in the pool, drink too much, eat too much, and enjoy each other's company. We stay a week (she has a very big house). This is just a random snapshot...I am not in it.

What is your least favorite thing to do... (besides going to work) I actually don't mind work. I get to stay home with Liam and a little girl comes into my house (I was her nanny before Liam was even thought of). It works out great. I liked working with the addicts before that as well. Maybe I am weird

My least favorite thing to do is either cooking or dishes. I hate both pretty equally! Me and DH split cooking a lot, since I hate it so much. I often think of what to make and start it, he finishes it and does the dishes (win-win for me!)

Questions:
1.) What is your favorite thing to do when you get alone time? Either take a really looooooong hot shower. Or read. Sometimes I like to catch up on my DVRed shows too. It just depends. I also like really loud music, so I listen to that when alone a lot too. If only I could do ALL those things at the same time!! Lol
2.) What was the best date you've ever gone on and why? Hmmmm, is it wrong that it was with an ex?? We went to Busch Gardens and it was soooo fun. There were fireworks and I rode every single roller coaster. I love amusement parks.

I need to get on taking some pics. I am too lazy to take them and download them.

We do have a fence, under the deck. But most of our backyard is trees. It is really nice in the summer!

ETA: I also LOVE crafts. I wish I had more time for them, but I choose to spend time doing other things right now. I know if I made an effort, I could do more. I like scrapbooking, collaging, cross-stitching (not often, but if I have a good project), and making cards. I have a list of about six half-done craft projects right now. I need to get on working on them

Tell us about your worst fight with DH....Hmmm, we actually don't fight a whole lot. We "snip." But I guess it was when I was about 6 months pregnant and we were cleaning up our backyard (his brother piled it like we lived in Alabama...no offense to anyone!). I went to pick up a battery, like to a car. And he yelled at me not to touch it. It was his tone. We fought for an entire day because he seems to have this notion that I can't do things or make decisions...as though I had not cared for myself for 7 years ON MY OWN before I even met him. That fight was a big one

Can I see a picture of your favorite pair of shoes? Sadly, my favorite shoes don't exist. I HATE shoes of all kinds. I guess ballet flats are my favs, since they are so simple and comfy. I love, love, love fuzzy socks though. Lemme get my camera back out. I am currently downloading a couple of the other pics I promised.
