Planning for conception

Hi ladies af just finished, hopefully for quite some time!!
I'm just wondering what everyone does to check O time? Last time iknew wen I would be but I'm suspicious that it's different now and don't even know how to check through temping or if the ovulation kits are better? I even read on the net that it isn't good to just have sex heaps because it affects the sperm quality???? Is that just a load of bull or what!! I think at this point iv read too much!!

Temping will only tell you after the fact that you've ovulated, while OPKs will tell you beforehand (OPK will be positive 12-48hrs before O). The bit about having too much sex only applies where there's a sperm count/quality issue. If there's no sperm problem you can DTD every day

Hey lovely lady! I use OPK's because charting makes me crazy. They are both good. If your going to use OPK's I would start about 3 days after AF ends and do them until you get a positive. The do say to BD once a day or every other day depending on DH's sperm count. Sometimes the more we read the more stressful it becomes. I hope this is the last AF visits for a LONG time for you

I usually chart CM and CP, but this cycle (first after M/C) it was kinda wonky, and if this isn't my month, I'll use OPKs next cycle.

I do temps and OPKs, and once we are officially TTC again (March?), I will break out my Clearblue fertility monitor. I'm not using it while we are on a break bc the sticks are pretty expensive.

I do OPK's because 1- I suck at charting, 2- I have a one year old so temping at the same time is impossible.
My goal is to typically have sex every day during the fertile period. We don't have a sperm count problem, so no reason not to. I think we took one night off early in the fertile period this time because we were both so freaking exhausted.
