Ok, seeing how h*ll froze over with me being in a good mood today (Lol), I figured we could play a game. It'll get us to better know each other!
Anybody have any confessions that they won't really admit flat out or that they will deny with certain people? Silly stuff like... me for example:
1. I have a sinful obsession with Jersey Shore -Snookie and JWoww are my favs!
2. I LOVE NIN and depressing rock. Lol. Even some really hardcore stuff. Ex. Korn, Radiohead, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Alice in Chains, etc. (yet I am supposed to be a sweet Mormon girl)
3. I am a HUGE comic book geek! I have a huge collection and so does my hubby (something we never knew about each other until we moved in together, lol)
4. Playing on number 3, I also am OBSESSED with zombies (comics, books, movies, series). I even cried tears of happiness when I found out AMC was making a series out of my favorite graphic novel series! Even with that being said, I still give myself nightmares about them! They freak me out! (and yes I do have an extensive collection of zombie stuff)
5. I LOVE dachshunds. I want a dachshund purse and dachshund jammies badly. I am thinking about finding some fabric and making my own, even though I suck at sewing!
6. I am probably the goofiest person I know! I love to dance around the house and sing at the top of my lungs! The stupidier looking the dance, the better!
If I think of any more off the top of my head, I'll post them!

OMG; obsessed with zombies too! But I admit that.
I am still thinking of my own stuff I won't admit because... I don't want to admit it.

That's the kind of music I'd admit too . . . . what I don't admit is that I will sing in the car to Kesha, Pink, Bieber . . . etc. I will DENY DENY DENY ever listening to POP music!

Lol! Your list is cracking me up!
My boyfriend is a comic book nerd. I'm learning, but still not quite there yet, lol. But, we can have conversations that last hours talking about comics. He pretty much knows everything there is to know about the Marvel universe!
We also used to spend hours playing Magic the Gathering...
and tonight, a friend is coming over to teach me dungeons and dragons! Hahaha, the nerd in me is squeeing with excitement!
Oh, and very few people outside family know about my WoW obsession
I have a sinful obsession with Teen Mom. But I just started watching re-runs of Jersey Shore and now I think I'm hooked on that too!
I'll never admit that I play out stories and have conversations with people in my head...lol, not like hearing voices or anything, but I think about if I were to say something to someone, what would they say, how would i respond...and then it just goes from there, lol.
I also play music at certain times...kind of like there's a musical in my head and I imagine people bursting out in song and dance.
....wow, I really sound like a nut!

Oooooohhh Teen Mom is another one of my fav's! I love love love Macy and Catelynn! I still hate Amber and I think she honestly does not care about her daughter. I am glad Farrah is finally growing up, so I am starting to like her a little bit.
I have been obsessed with comics since the X-Men cartoon came on in the late 80's. Ah... good ole Saturday morning cartoons. I am a huge Marvel girl myself. Marvel Zombies rock! Lol, of course. Very expensive addiction. I am no longer allowed in comic book stores without my hubby who monitors my spending. Lol. Still, he cannot resist my pouting face and I usually get to leave with a comic or 2 even if he says no.
Yeah, I figured this is a good way to get to know one another!

Lol. I am sort of an open book (meaning others do know these things)...but I will say some of my more bizzare obsessions.
1. I have always had this weird thing with twins. I watch every twin show on TV (like on Discovery Health/TLC), have had three sets of twins I have nannied for (completely coincidence, they were the ones calling me), and it seems like no matter where I turn, there are twins popping up (we have four sets in the close family of cousins/aunts). I will shamefully admit I also stalk the twins board on here. I don't know what the deal is.
2. I am terrified of someone breaking in my house. I love shows like Criminal Minds, SVU, CSI...but they give me nightmares and make me psycho about locking my doors and windows. Sometimes, I will wake my DH up in the middle of the night to "check out a sound" that I heard. It is remarkably unhealthy!
3. I love, love, love my little pick-up truck. It is a lowered S-10 Xtreme and I love to drive it super-fast, with the music blaring. It makes me feel like a cool kid! I am so sad I can't drive it daily. It was totalled in a minor accident a couple years back...and I insisted on fixing it even though I should have just let it go. It was my first car and is going on 12 years old now
That is all for now! Just cause it is interesting, I own 5 dachshunds and breed them as well (sometimes). Look up in the girl of the week thread and there are pics of my babies. I have a dachshund obsession too, but it is a little more obvious. I have a pair of PJ's that my MIL got me at Dillards (?) If you have those closeby, go look for a pair!!

I love love love doxies! They literally run in my family! My great gma had them, my gma had them, my mom had them (we had 2 growing up) and has one now, my sister has 2, my aunt's has some, and I have one (and I would have a housefull if my hubby let me). I am OBSESSED with them. I have doxie wallpaper on my computer and stuffed dachshunds all over the house! My daughter is now obsessed too! If you lived closer I would cry until my hubby let me get one of your babies! (yes I am that bad) Lily is our little black and tan dapple. She is fixed because she was born with a hernia, but she is my spoiled rotten brat baby. She always has to be in my lap or next to me.

Alright, this is fun!
1- I own Spice World. On DVD. I still watch it, and still love it.
2- I'm more of a rock girl (Incubus, Radiohead, A Perfect Circle, Collective Soul, Chevelle....etc) But when you flip through my CD binder I have: Backstreet Boys, Lady Gaga, NSync, Mandy Moore, and Ja Rule, etc)
3- I dance while I clean. (Only when I'm alone, and it probably looks like a mini seizure anyway haha)
4- While my house is decorated with wine like decorations. (Vineyard pictures, etc) I'm not really that fond of wine.
5- I would rather sit here with you ladies and chat, then go to the bar with my best friend (though in all fairness, I hate the bar)
*and now that you think i'm crazy.......*

I don't know if I have anything that I am embarrassed to mention, but I do know there are some things that I do that people think are weird. Here are some weird and not so weird facts about me. - I am a gamer. I love board games, video games and role playing games.
- I also like zombies, I just ordered a zombie calendar from Amazon
- I like crafts (scrapbooking, sewing, baking)
- I like photography
- I think more like a stereotypical guy than a stereotypical woman. Many of the comments I see on here about the husbands might as well be talking about me.
- I am not religious
- I majored in French in college, which is generally useless except on crossword puzzles.
- I have a twisted sense of humor
- I like Tim Burton's style
- I have Mickey Mouse things all over my house and I love Disney (used to work for Disney)

Three words for you then my dear....
ZOMBIES VS UNICORNS
Yes it is a book, and yes it DOES exist. I am currently in talks with my hubby about purchasing the book on Amazon.com. It is a lot cheaper on there.
Yes.... I am a freak.

Have you read or heard of cracked.com's book: You might be a zombie and other bad news? HILARIOUS! I didn't put it on my list because i'm not ashamed of it. Loving zombies and everything to do with em runs in my family. *smiles proudly* I got it from my dad. Haha. I love zombies myself. Specially Return of the Living Dead, and Return of the living dead 2. Much awesomeness contained in those movies!

Girl you are speaking my language! I have not heard of it, but I will definately check it out! My fav. zombie movies in order are:
Dawn of the Dead (remake)
28 Days Later (although they cannot "really" be named zombies because it is only a virus and they can die)
Zombieland (Twinkies anyone?)
Sean of the Dead (Lol)
Fido (Another Lol!!)
and of course all of the original George Romero's!
Also I suggest:
World War Z (Max Brooks Novel) (ps Brad Pitt bought the rights to this book and the movie has been in talks for a while-GREAT READ)
Zombie Survival Guide (Max Brooks)
The Walking Dead (Read the graphic novels first, then watch the AMC show)
Anything Marvel Zombies (who doesn't love a zombie Wolverine and Spiderman?!?!)
28 Days Later (Graphic Novel Series)
**SPOILER ALERT**
Oh and in the novel World War Z, they have a story about a dachshund and a pit bull who helped the people with the zombies. I have a dachshund and a pit bull!! Lol!!

See mine are:
1- Dead Alive (Peter Jackson at his finest LOL
2- Shaun of the Dead
3- Zombieland (but ONLY because of the Bill Murray scene is it so high on my list
4- Night of the living dead, return of the living dead 1,2,3 (honestly they could have come up with better sequel titles)
5- Anything George Romero
6- Resident evil
(plus many more)
And then there are a few books:
*Married with Zombies (and there is a sequel called, Flip this Zombie) by Jessie Petersen
*Happy hour of the ******- Mark Henry--Just look it up on barnes and noble writing Amanda Feral as well. The word thats bleeped starts with a D (There are three or four books in the series) Those took me a bit to actually get into, but it was WELL worth it! it's also kind of graphic on the whole. Like eating people scenes and they kind of have a potty mouth
*Every zombie eats somebody sometime- Michael P Spradlin
*Zombie Fairy Tales- Jill Myles
(Again theres more)
Oh and for the record your depressed band list, is literally like all of DH's favorite bands!!!! He has them all on vinyl. (Cept for Radiohead, he doesn't like them. But I do, so I have them on vinyl hahaha!)

You girls forgot to warn us all about the zombie tangent! LMAO
Some things I don't like to admit:
1. I like watching Backyardigans (and yes, I originally saw it when I was babysitting, so that is NORMAL). Once I watched some episodes on Netflix and when DH got home and saw it on the recently watched list he asked what was up. I lied and said I wanted to look up who did one of the voices LMAO (I don't know WHY he bought that lie, it makes no sense).
2. I always have these daydreams about people IRL talking some **** to me about our loss or infertility and then I ***** them out I think it helps me get out some of my anger? But I still have a lot, lol.
3. I always hated spicy food, and my family would put hot sauce on everything, so I was *famous* for not liking it. Now I like it, but I put it on my food secretly and won't admit it to them because I'm embarrassed about changing my mind
I can't think of any others right now... except a couple that I REALLY won't admit

I don't have much I'm embarassed about....but here's one:
I'm Twilight obsessed...
After spending a couple years rolling my eyes at teenagers ogling over twilight related stuff, I gave in and watched the first movie since it was on TV and I was sick on the couch. Then, the obsession started lol....I bought the dvds and the books and have since read the books twice, watch the first movie about 6 times (twice with the commentary), the second 3 or 4 times (once with commentary), and the third just twice. I have the Twilight Scene It, which DH actually plays with me (and even won once lol). I won't wear any shirts or anything though I would love to own one (I bought one for my niece lol). I love going in my niece's room cause she has posters all over from the movies lol....
I'll admit to liking it I guess...but not to the degree I do, I feel too old to have a teenage obsession lol.
**Team Edward btw

I'll check it out. Zombieland is one of my favorite movies, zombies or not. It was hilarious. You should check out the board game Last Night on Earth, if you like games. It's zombies vs humans and plays up to 5 people. I love it.

Yeah, I work with teens and I would make fun of them all the time, but I wanted to know what the big deal was so I watched the first movie. It was pretty interested so I picked up the books and read them in a matter of days. Dh just laughed at me, but I really enjoyed them. Moral of the story . . . the next time my students get crazy obsessed over a book series, read the books and laugh later!

I cannot even get into the Twilight books. I feel she is such a horrible author and does not write well. Plus she does not research her stuff well. Aka... the part where the car is "screeching loudly" as it is sliding across ice. Cars do not "screech" while sliding on ice, only on cement. Then again, maybe I am just partial to my True Blood books. Lol. I would ravish Eric in a heartbeat. I told my hubby that he is one of the few actors or characters I would leave him for. Lol. Plus, I like raunchy, gory, disgusting, and adult themed books. So maybe that is another flaw for me? Eh.... Although, I did kinda like the movie. (but shhhh.... do not tell anyone!!)
