Does anyone here use Twitter? What is it about? A few of my friends said I would have fun with it but have no idea what it is. I think I have enough with FaceBook. Is it the same type of deal? I looked on Twitter.com but still did not fully understand it.

I have twitter, never used it much... you follow people like bands or friends and their tweets show up in your feed vice versa... peopple follow you and likewise.
It's alright  can be fun/funny

It's basically just instant messaging the world and hoping they care. You're limited to 125 characters or something like that. I don't see the appeal for normal people. It's good for businesses and maybe celebrities.
So for example, I might say, "I had oatmeal for breakfast today" and then all of my "followers" would see it and think, "Who cares?" and probably stop following me.

LOL that is just like how my oldest just explained it to me. He told me I don't need it.

yewah its basically texting the world. i use to do it all the time had like 500 followers but i stop getting on it because it was just to much i had to delete a lote of people because my thread was on overload. but its basically just like facebook you get friends and you see there status on a time line
