The nurse called and said the DR said my numbers look amazing and are way above the cover line.
The DR wants me to come in 5 days for a ultrasound... but he won't be in my office until the end of next week. So I am having my first ultra sound Jan 20th (5w3D). I said to the nurse "isn't that a little eary" She said Well he fully expects to see a heartbeat then.
I had a ultra sound with DD at 5w 4d and there was no heartbeat yet so I will keep that in mind if there is not one yet.

That is pretty early for a heartbeat. All of mine have been at six weeks or later. Keep that in mind...but other than that....great news!!!!! Sounds like things are going well!

Shanise & Missy STOP IT..lol my daughter is looking at me cause I am a freak sitting here laughing out loud..lol "Whats so funny mommy"....lol
You all have me freaked out looking the internet for HCG levels and multiplies.
I said something to the nurse and she did not even say a word about it other than she said progestrone can be more of an indication of multiples than HCG. She said in a normal pregnancy they want it to be over 15 and mine was 28.7 but she left it at that.
I called my friends who has twins and she said her HCG was acually lower than mine and not doubling as fast but her progrestrone was 76... but she said at 6 weeks it dropped really low and the rest of the pregnancy she was on progesterone. So she might not be a good one to look after all cause she has PCOS and a couple other things and that can make your hormones out of wack.

I agree on the two babies.... I am living it now and you sound like me! I have absolutely zero twins in my family, nor does DH. I didn't use anything except Preseed so I was thinking my age my be what did it. I released two eggs and they both performed their magic. Maybe you are in the same boat. How are you feeling? What are your symptoms?

OMG LISA now you are really freaking me out.
The only thing we used was Preseed as well.
I only had a positive OPK 1 day and I have NEVER seen one this postive the line was so freaking dark. Wonder if that is an indication of possibly letting more than 1 egg go?
I always did want 3 kids and hubby said after this one is about 3 months old he is getting fixed so that would give me 3.
It is making a little since. Monday the nurse said he would want to do a U/S until after 6 weeks. But all the sudden he wants to see me at the begining of week 5?
And instead of an ulltra sound tech doing m u/s he wants to personaly do it.
OMG guys this is going to be a long week..lol
I am really not having to many symptoms. My boobs hurt worse than I have ever felt like rocks are in them (if anyone ever breast feed it feels like the first night they sleep through the night and wake up feeling like rocks are in them) I am a little jittery feeling and hunrgy all the time.
OH Lisa... when did they do your first U/S?

Either he is looking for 2, or he really thinks there will be a heart beat. The higher the hcg, the easier it is to see things. Good luck, how exciting.
