I went to my cardiology appt today. They did another ekg, went over my 48hr heart monitor results and listened to my heart. I missed half of what he said, but I caught the part where he said I have an arythmia, a PVC (premature vehicular contraction) which is actually making my heart contract twice in a row, then not contract so it is feeling like it's skipping beats or rolling in my chest. He said the majority of the time, they are harmless and could be related to being pregnant, but it could also be serious and related to me having diabetes for almost 33yrs. I go back next week for an excercise study with echo and ultrasound to see if it's anything to worry about.
I'd appreciate any thoughts and prayers you could send this way that it's harmless. This is just one more hurtle I am having to jump.

Good luck Rebecca...in my younger years I worked in cardiology and used to perform those stress tests. I hope they don't find too much...I hope its just pregnancy related...cause thats a much easier fix....in 5 or so months you just become unpregnant! If it's diabetes we both know the dangers for that. My daughter has only had it now for 13 years and it's already taking it's toll. Make sure to keep us up to date!

Erg, I hope everything comes up fine for you. I'll definitely be thinking of you in the meantime, and checking back in for results.
