I am an Aires and refuse to change! I am not a Pisces at all and according to the new chart that is where they put me.

So how do you feel about the new zodiac chart?

where does it say it only affects the people born after 2009? i would like to understand the reasoning behind it. not that i put much credence in it anyway

I am an Aries too! But...granted, I'm more of a Pices in life. I'm kinda close to the cusp (March 25th), so this could explain it. The new chart changes me to Pices too...

The thing is, (and I believe this is explained in the link that Amy posted), there are two different groups of Astrology. Western astrology (which most of us are familiar with) and Eastern Astrology. If this "change" affects birthdate (as it does me, my DH and both my kids) it's because you are on the cusp of one sign so in eastern astrology you would have always been the other sign anyway. This ONLY affects eastern astrology though. If you follow western astrology NOTHING has changed. You are still the sign you have ALWAYS been.

It only effects people born after 2009 because eastern astrology is based on the earths position in relation to the constallations. That changes over time. Western astrology is based on the earths realtionship to the sun and the seasons.....things that do not change.
