Roller Coaster Days

Today has been such a roller coaster day. Let me start at the beginning. I had a nuclear medicine test for my gallbladder scheduled this morning at 11:45 am. Since Af is late (yes I know we were supposed to take one month off) I took a first response gold digital pregnancy test this morning at 12:30 when I woke up to let the dogs out. The test came back saying yes. Dh came down to go to the bathroom and to fix the fire. I showed him the test and said I was very scared. Also I was worried about this test I was scheduled for if I was pregnant.I didn't go back to sleep after I saw the yes. To many things going through my head. I only worked a half day which for me is 9 am. I had two hours to kill before I had to report the hospital for my test. I went right to Wal Mart to buy more test. Yes I have a addiction to peeing on sticks. I got some more first response gold digital and right into the Wal Mart bathroom to take the test. This test came back saying no I wasn't pregnant. So now I am super confused. I report to the hospital for my test. I let them know at the hospital that I got one postive and one negative home pregnancy test. They told me they wouldn't do the test if there was any chance. Which is fine with me since I didn't want to do anything to hurt this baby. They asked me if I had a doctor that would schedule a blood test. I said yet. I called dh and told him what was going. My ob's office is right by the hospital. I left the hospital and went right to my ob's office and asked to see his nurse. His nurse came right out and I expliainged about the test I had to have, about the one pregnancy test saying yes and the other one saying no. Right way she said she would order a blood test to see if I was pregnant. If the blood test said I was pregnant then they would also do a HCG count and progesterone. She told me to call her back this afternoon. With this test I had to have I couldn't eat or drink anything after 11 pm last night. By not eating or drinking anything and not sleeping that much I was starting to get real sick on top of all of this. My blood surgar falls if I don't eat. I called my ob's nurse this afternoon and she said my blood test was negative so I can reschedule my test that I need to have on my gallbladder.
It has been such an emotional day. I still can't believe I got the wrong results on the first pregnancy test I took this morning. I am sorry this is so long. If you made it this far thanks for reading.

That sounds like such an awful, stressful day!

I am so sorry that you had to go through all that. False positive HPT's are so so cruel. Huge hugs!

My heart was pounding with excitement for you when I first read that you got a Yes.

Do you still have the box the tests came in? Please call the company and complain, they will send you out coupons for additional tests. It is not right that they got you all excited like that and it was wrong.

Thanks Ladies. I didn't know it was possible to have so many emotions in one day. Now I have to call and reschedule that test on my gall bladder. When I got the phone call that we weren't pregnant I was upset since I had my hopes up all day that we were. Dh just hugged me and said honey we will get pregnant some day and just remember no matter what I love you.

Thank you for the suport. I still have the box and I plan on calling them on Monday to complain about the test.

Missy one thing about dh he is always make sure when something goes wrong that he lets me know that he loves me and he is always there for me. When my mom passed away he took whole week off of work just to be with me.
