My hubby and I have been trying to concieve for what feel like FOREVER. We've had two horrible losses and ended up losing ourselve in all of it. I ended up going to therapy and it feels good to say Im happy again. however we decided to stop ttc because it was causing too much stress on both of us. Hubby works out of state so we never get to see each other and he is NEVER home during ovulation. we decided to do another IUI in feb but due to lack of money had to cancel it. no big deal. Unfortunately for my bank account but great for me the hubby got laid off so he got to be home during ovulation. We didnt stress about bding and just relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. Ive been feeling the symptoms of pregnancy. sore breasts, nausea, peeing ALL the time. but when i take a test its neg. i think i see a line then its gone. i even peed on 6 in one day. then today on AIP board i read someone got their BFP on 8dpo which thats what i am so i poas and NEG. i need to stop poas and relax but now i cant stop crying and when my husband asks whats wrong im lying and saying nothing cause i dont want to worry him. this 2ww is horrible!!

any advice?

8dpo is extremely early to get a BFP on a pregnancy test. I saw that post in AIP and it is not very common to get a + that early. I have short cycles and do not get a + until at least 10dpo.

I would say wait a few days and test again, or at least bring it down to testing 1 time a day so you don't drive yourself crazy.

I personally would tell my DH what I was going through.

This is why poas before AF is due is self torture that we do to ourselve because it offers abiguous results... there can be DAYS of negatives before getting a positive on say 13dpo! So don't let it STEAL and ROB you of the happiness you've had achieved again. If it gets you this horribly down then do not test until like a day before af is due. It's a FREAK OF NATURE when women get a + 8dpo, honestly I think they miscalculated when they ovulated because implantation doesn't take place until 7-12 (or MORE) DPO!

So do NOT let this rule you, do NOT let it take away the BEST of you... it's too early honestly hon... it's not fair to be tortured like this so step away from peesticks for a few days (easier said than done, I know, btdt)

I wish the BEST for you, but take it easy on yourself and leave the poas for a few+ days away from now.

Ditto to what the other ladies have said. Hang in there, don't lose hope and try not to test until at least 9-10 dpo. Like the others said...it's rare to even get a positive at 9dpo, so dont' be so hard on yourself...and wait a few days to test again...(I know thats easier said than done!)...

Good luck!

I've never had a positive that early. I would make sure your husband hides the tests and don't pull them out until at least 13 dpo. You need to take care of you and not let this rob you of your happiness with obsessing (yes, I know, easier said than done). Good luck, and (hugs).

I had negatives at 8 and 9 DPO. Didn't get my positive until 10 DPO. Don't despair yet! Good luck!!

I agree with the other ladies. I also would try to only test once a day. And remember there are some ladies who don't get a positive until days after AF was due. So don't count yourself out yet
