This is taken from one of my favorite books "A few good eggs" (I posted a link to the book earlier this week)
1. Allow yourself time to grieve
2. Keep a journal
3. Honor your lost child in some way - plant a flowering bush or tree
4. Write your lost child a letter, pour out your feelings, then tuck the letter away
5. Don't go it alone. Talk about the miscarriage with your partner, your parent, or your friends here on JM (I added that last part)
6. Give yourself a break. It is not your fault. You are not a bad person, Let go of the guilt
7. Yell, curse, pound your fist on the table, go for a run, curl up in your bed and sleep... then start living again.
8. You are not the only persons to whom this has happened. Find others who understand (us!)
9. Take care of yourself - go to a spa, get a manicure or facial, buy yourself something special
10. Realize that these feelings will pass, but never be forgotten - and that's ok.
Feel free to add your own as well...
(((Hugs))) I am sorry for our losses
