I bought some red raspberry leaf tea yesterday and tried to drink it today...GAG, I just can't do it...It's so gross! I read online that it's supposed to be a really good tasting tea...I guess it's not to me...I guess i'll stick to the fertilitea and peppermint tea.

I'm weird, but I love the flavor... I love pretty much all the herb leaf teas. Some like burdock can be kinda bitter, but infusing other herbs help.
I love it but people call me a crunchy hippy too Used to be hardcore herbs for everything, I have lots of books so if you have a question Megan shoot it at me!

Okay Celena...I don't mind the fertilitea, it's actually pretty good....I usually don't mind tea, i'm not sure why I couldn't drink the RRL tea, even the smell made me gag lol...I added some honey to see if it would help, and it didn't.

you should get the fertilitea, it tastes just like the peppermint (it has peppermint in it), plus other stuff!!!

It's pretty um what's a good word to describe it???? Idk, herby LOL
Megan if you dig the fertilitea stick with it.... you can always create your own blend by researching herbs and brewing it in a pot then straining it. Like peppermint and red raspberry leaf as an example, throw in some nettles or whatever you chose to for your own "fertility" blend

My nauturopath told me that the only time I should be drinking rrl tea is near the end of 3rd tri, because it causes 'toning' of the uterus. Which in actuality is the tea causing contractions. She said its dangerous for ttc and pregnancy.
Obviously its only one opinion among 100s. But almost all will agree its used to induce labour. Even some of the fertility blends have it in there.
Just thought Id share.

I was thinking about switching to fertilitea but I have PCOS and I heard peperment tea is really good for that. I think I am going to stick with that. I have a cup of that before I go to bed everynight.

I blend my own teas a lot, I have a ton of herbs.. I use RRL as a base and tend to mix it with others depending on what I need the tea to do . It blends really well with peppermint tea... I used to drink fertilitea but you can mix your own for so much cheaper , so I just started to make my own :-) .. RRL can be a bit heavy if you steep it to long , try not letting it sit as long in hot water

Stacey, fertilitea actually has peppermint in it! ...I've also brewed fertilitea and then added peppermint just to give it a stronger flavor.
