I told my parents on Sunday that I was expecting again, I didn't to tell them not to mention anything yet since the last time my Mom sounded insulted when I mentioned it saying "I would never say anything till after you did, you should know that". Well, apparently it doesn't work like that with my dad. Yesterday morning, I get up and check my Facebook on my phone and lo and behold...he's posted it as his status!!!!
I was livid! People started posting on my page....and now everyone knows, including my work supervisor and my coworkers.
My dad did apologize, saying he was just happy and excited.
Now my emotions are everywhere. I told him it was okay, but I'm still kinda upset. I can't stop thinking "now I have all these people to tell again if I m/c again". My dad says to "think positive", but it's hard.
Thanks for listening.

My mother in law did the same thing with one of my pregnancies. We just stopped telling her and will wait till we make it past 12 weeks.

I'm so sorry I would have been upset, too. Sometimes people just carried away and don't stop to think.

Arrrggg. That sucks. I am so sorry. My mom is the one who can't keep her mouth shut and half my family knew about my second loss...as well as my first (even though I specifically told her to zip it). I really don't think it was meant in harm, as you seem to recognize. But, still, you are the one who has to deal with the fall-out IF (huge if, I really hope all goes well for you!) something horrible happens. Big
I am hoping that things turn out great and your little lady gets a bro or sis in Sept.

I'm sorry he did that. My mother in law did that to me before, and it's not a good feeling at all!

I would be livid, too, although he meant no harm by it. He just doesn't understand how you feel after going through a loss. Hopefully it is a good sign, though.

I'm sorry.
I don't think I will tell anybody till I just can't hide it anymore. They weren't very supportive when we lost Spud, let alone any of the others.

Thanks for understanding....I knew if anyone did you would. DH doesn't get why I didn't want to tell anyone. His feeling is "but it's good news!". Well, yeah it is, but I'm still nervous.
Thankfully I got alot of support from most of these people with the loss.

I'm so sorry i would definitly let him know WHY it bothers you (having to tell people if anything happens) and ask him to think about how it made you feel that HE shared your special news and now you don't get to.

Aww hunni im so sorry about that i know how that must suck i totally understand your concern but this time may be different in order to attract positive things to your life you have to think positive say this in the morning everyday I AM beautiful and I will see this pregnancy through to the end. I Am pregnant and it WILL remain this way until it is time to deliver.
The more you say it the more you will believe and feel it and the mor positive feeling and vibes will come to you
