I'm a big Stephen King fan.
I'm in the middle of The Host by Stephanie Meyer (the Twilight author) and it's really good!!

What genres do you like? I don't want to make suggestions that you have zero interest in.
I just read two books on my kindle that were cheap and good. H. P. Mallory's Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble (90 cents) and Toil and Trouble (2.99). They are sort of romance books. I was a little frustrated by the main character at times, but who knows where the series will go.

I love to read and keep seeing these Kindle commercials on TV. Do you like your Kindles? Do you prefer them over a conventional paper book?
For mindless fun reading I enjoy Nora Roberts and Danielle Steele. Other than that I do not have a favorite author, I enjoy reading a variety of books. We have 2 bookshelves full of books (and that was after donating a bunch!)
My husband is a huge Malcom Gladwell and Steven King fan.

I love my Kindle because you can get a book instantly and no resources wasted to print the book. Also, it's so light, so my hands don't get tired like they do with real books.
What I don't always like are the prices. Sometimes a kindle book will only be 10 cents cheaper than the paperback. In that case, I buy the actual book and either re-sell it or donate it to the library.

The Double Bind was a really good book, I forget the author though.
I love the Twilight Series, I despised them at first and thought how stupid they are because I'm so not into vampires and stuff but the books are REALLY good.
I love Chelsea Handler so all her books are great but I think her first one is best. It's not for everyone though, it is very raw and at times crude humor. I'm sure you can get that from the names of her books like "My horizontal life: a collection of one night stands" and "Are you there Vodka? Its me, chelsea". But she makes me literally LOL and her books lift my spirits!

I love paranormal romance type stuff.
Laurell K Hamilton
MaryJanice Davidson
Charlaine Harris
Lynsay Sands
(They are also very comedic!)
But what genre do you like?

I do love my Kindle. I thought that I wouldn't because I love books themselves but it's wonderful having dozens of books at one time.
I really like all genres of books. True Crime, romance, horror, murder/mystery, not really sci-fi but I do like vampire books.
Nora Roberts is wonderful. I think I've read all of her books.
