Ok are you guys sick of me yet?! So the other day (2 days ago?) I posted pics of what I thought was a close to getting a positive OPK, it was pretty dark but not quite there yet. I still have HCG in my system, 43 count as of last Friday (14th) and I am awaiting my results from the blood draw yesterday. So there was some mention of maybe the HCG was making it darker then it should be. I took another one today and the test line was SUPER faint, like probably 3 times lighter then the one I had 2 days ago. I'm inclined to think I may have gotten a positive on the OPK had I tested yesterday because I doubt that if it were my HCG levels making the test line darker that they would've fallen THAT much to make the line so much more faint. But if I had gotten a positive yesterday, would the line be extremely faint today? sooooo here's my questions:

1- After you get a positive on the OPK, the next day would the line be a LOT fainter, or would it gradually fade as the days go by?

2- If I would've gotten a positive on the OPK yesterday, does that mean today or tomorrow is probably O day?

3- Do I make sense? Are you cutting me off from asking OPK questions anymore? lol

Thanks in advance!

Rachel, I am happy you are asking these questions. Since this is my first month of really using them I have a lot of questions also.

LH surge only lats 12 hours once you get a +. You typically O within 12-48 hours after a +OPK.

Would the positive line then get gradually lighter each time you test or would it be SIGNIFICANTLY lighter right away after the surge is gone?

With me, I usually get 2 positives in a 12-hour span, and if I take one again four hours later, it's SIGNIFICANTLY lighter.
