Do you use a laptop or PC? Do you have your own computer or do you share with someone else?
I have a laptop and everyone in the house has their own computers. 3 of us have laptops and 2 have PC's. I love my computer and not sure if I would want to share one with anyone.

I have a PC...It's mine and I don't share...DH has a PC too, which is actually my old computer...I usually get the new computers and he gets my old ones...I'd like to get a lap top for me and DH to share, that we just use for the internet (still have our PC's to use for other things).

I had a laptop but it is old and super duper slow so now I have to use "DH's" pc but it is really both of ours. I like them both for different resons, with a laptop I seem to be on the computer a lot more then I would be if on a PC. But i like a laptop because I work online so it'd be nice to do so from the couch again!

We have a pc and a laptop. When DH is at work I use the laptop and when hes home he has it and i have the pc. I work from home so I use the laptop mainly for that so I can be where my son is

We have two ancient desktops (they really should be retired!), a laptop and a netbook. I use the netbook for all my internet stuff and our laptop needs to go to the shop.
We're hoping to get a new desktop computer next year (yes, as in 2012!) when we pay off our credit card debt. 'Til then, pray we don't kill our computers!

laptop here, but we have a pc which I'd like to make it more kid friendly and encourage them to use it more

I have a laptop, but its getting slow and annoying. When my fiance is home, I use his work laptop and its much faster. When he's not home, I use my laptop.

We have 3 macbooks (laptop), a power mac and an iMac. We used to have 3 Mac minis and PC laptop too, but we got rid of them.
We also have an ipad, but I don't use it for internet surfing.

I have a laptop but I have been just using my iPad lately it is much easier to carry around and I love it!!!

My boys each have mac laptops for school. It is crazy, they do not have any textbooks at all, their school is 100% computer. When we moved here I thought it was pretty crazy that they did all of their work on the computer!
I pay $75 a year for the insurance on the computers but they are still school owned.

Missy that is crazy! I would hate just doing schooling on a computer. What happens if the computer dies and you lose all your stuff? I know you said you pay for insurance on it but sometimes stuff can't be recovered.

I totally agree with you! I was pretty shocked that they did not use textbooks and all of their schoolwork was on the computer. The boys seem to like it though...
How times have changed!

DH and I share a laptop. We each also have a PC down in the basement, but I have not been on mine since I moved in two-and-a-half years ago!! We mostly get along fine with the one laptop...but he tends to be a laptop hog when he is home. I have to snag it around dinner time if I want time to be on it

Dh and I have matching laptops (LOL) I mainly read from my phone (droid) and respond from my laptop. Dh has 2 desktops for work that I use to print coupons!

I have a lap top and and a PC. I keep the lap top down stairs and the PC is up stairs. Since Dh hates computers I don't have to worry about him really using the computers. Dh's nephew is home school so when his computer is down he uses my PC for school.

DH and I both have our own laptops. Recently we have had to share his because there is a virus on mine that will not let me get online. We want to get a desktop for the office eventually.
