For my DH's 30th b-day last year, I surprised him with a 12 day vacation. We went to Vegas, Los Angeles, and then took a cruise out of LA to the Mexican Riviera (Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, and Mazatlan). We had THE BEST time and got to share a bunch of new experiences together, like horseback riding on the beach and doing all kinds of touristy stuff in CA, and we met a bunch of really cool people on the cruise that we still keep in touch with. And what made it even better was that we went on the cruise right after the H1N1 scare in Mexico, so it was SUPER affordable! We would go back to Cabo in a minute, it was awesome there.

Disney World is my favorite place to go. My son is 5 and has already been 4 times. We finally joined the vacation club (think timeshare) on our last trip and we're going down there in May . I really love seeing Cinderella's castle lit up. Here are some pictures from my last trip.

The last picture was take with my son's point and shoot waterproof camera. It is underwater, looking up at the sky. I do have some with people in them , but none of them are on a website for me to share. I usually only post the artier pictures online.

When DH and I were still stationed overseas my dad came to visit (mom hates flying and wouldn't come). We had a 2 week vacation: Dublin, Amsterdam, Berlin (best Italian food I've ever had!) , Austria, Prague, Warsaw, Krakow, and Aushwitz. It was a LOT of driving but it was an amazing trip! We plan do to Dublin, Amsterdam, Prague, and Austria again in about 10 years.

DH and I went to the poconos on our honeymoon and it was amazing! We went to Bushkill falls so I could take pictures and the memories we made are irreplacable!

This past year for our 2 year anniversary we went to Gatlinburg, Tennessee and stayed in a romantic cabin. We LOVED it! We had so much fun exploring and we hope to go back again some day.

As close as I live to Gatlinburg (about 6 hours) I've never been. All of my friends rave about how wonderful it is.

Vegas has always been a favorite spot of ours. There is so much to do there, even with kids. My kids loved the strip this last year....and this summer I plan on going to the Fremont where they have a HUGE waterslide that crusies through live shark tanks. If anyone needs suggestions of places to go while there, ask away...I have been there so many times!

GO GO GO GO! We rented a cabin there last year in July for a week and had an awesome vacation! There is so much to do!

One of my favorite vacations was in the Poconos. It was me and DH, heart shaped hot tub, all inclusive, adults only, can we say total romance and fun?! Highly suggested to renew that spark in any relationship. You walk away feeling like you just had your first date. Cove Haven all the way! Poconos Romantic Getaway, Honeymoon Vacations, Weekend Getaways

Our honeymoon was an 8 day Caribbean cruise!

Last year I went on an 8 day cruise to Alaska - that was pretty awesome.

We have also been on vacation to FL and GA quite a few times. I am thinking our next short vacation will be to Niagara Falls. I have been there a bunch but Hubby and the boys have never been.

The hubby and I have been all over the east coast. Our three Fav spots are St. Augustine, FL, Charlottesville, VA and Tybee Island GA.

St Augustine is a family friend place, which is right on the bay. great food, good shops, people watching, touring the fort, and eating ice cream!

Charlottesville, is full of history, great wine tasting, apple orchards, nice downtown, plenty of sights to see.

Tybee is a fun little chill island near Savannah GA. Nice beaches, friendly people, you can go anywhere on the island by foot/bike. About 20 mintues from Sav which has a lot to do as well.

Last time we went to Scotland to visit family, we went down to England for a few days. We had a total blast visiting London, Canterbury, and several smaller towns.

Karen - That is where we got married! My hubby grew up there on the island and we are working towards moving back there in July/August. I love Tybee! Paradise on earth.

Our favourite holidays have been:
- a 2 week trip to London then Spain for our 10th anniversary. We rented a townhouse along the Costa Del Sol and had a great time.
- Coco Beach in Florida. We had a blast being right on the beach, plus only an hour or so from the theme parks. The best of both worlds.
- Any ski trip we've taken - we love Fernie, BC - Kelowna, BC - Banff & Lake Louise, AB. Of course it helps that we only live an hour's drive from some of the best mountains!
- If you can, Cuba is an awesome trip too. The people are so friendly and the weather was awesome!

My favorite vacation I went on was with my mom not Dh. 4 years ago before my mom got really bad I took her to Disney World for 2 weeks. I paid for everything so all what she had to do was sit back and enjoy it. We opened and closed every park.
My favorite vacation with Dh I will have to say out to Dh's camp. Its in the middle of woods. No lights, no tv, no computer, no phone. I love it out there. It's just Dh and I with nothing to distract us.
