Do you take any special supplements, eat anything different, have any particular ritual you adhere to, etc., to help you conceive each cycle? I have about a million different things that I do, and I always like to hear what others do as well! Maybe I can add to my ritual or help someone else add to theirs (like we need it, right? Ha!).

Alright, I'll start! I hope I'm not alone in all my crazy stuff!

Here's what I do (as always, discuss this stuff with your doctor. I have, and my doctor is aware of everything I am on. He even added to my supplements list!):

I take -
**A generic prenatal. Once a day; reasons go without saying. We should all be on one if we're in TTC mode!
**Soy Isoflavones 200 mg for five days starting on CD 3. It's a phytoestrogen, and acts as a Clomid substitute; I do respond to it (not everyone does). Helps me to avoid those bad Clomid side effects (most notable for me is infertile CM). I will be using this for the next several cycles until we get back into medical intervention again (taking a break from interventions for now).
**3 tablespoons of fresh ground flax seeds on my soy days (for the phytoestrogens that are in them - this is a different type of phytoestrogen, but it's stronger than soy, and very healthy for you anyway). I mix this in my yogurt.
**5 800 mcg of folic acid a day (in addition to the 800 mcg in my prenatal). I've read numerous studies stating that high doses helps with egg quality and implantation (egg quality is a big issue with me, we think this causes my recurrent miscarriages). This is also water soluble, so any excess will just leave in your urine.
**100 mg of B6 (in addition to the very minute amount in my prenatal). Helps support progesterone production.
**B-complex with Vitamin C (yes, more b vitamins!). This complex also has a minute amount of B6, which is why I have the additional B6 pill on top of it. Vitamin C also helps support your luteal phase. There are also studies supporting b-vitamin supplementation and luteal phase lengthening.
**Extra iron (I get anemic, even when not pregnant - but my iron dips very low during pregnancy)
**Baby aspirin; my doctor initially suggested this to me to help combat any uterine lining issues from Clomid side effects. Now he says it's not a bad idea to keep on it, in hopes that it keeps me from losing a future pregnancy.
**Flax seed oil supplements 2000 mg/day and Fish oil 1,000 mg/day. Yes, I even did this on my ground flax seed days! Studies show that infertility is directly related to the amount of fish oil you consume. Fish oil balances hormones, improves hormonal levels and increases blood flow to the uterus. The more Omega 3 fatty acids you get the greater your odds of conceiving.
**I also take 3000 mg of Evening Primrose Oil on my AF days just to help with those symptoms (it works!)

**Diet-wise, I drink spearmint tea twice a day to regulate my testosterone levels. I have many of the markers for PCOS, including high testosterone, which is one reason why I ovulate so weirdly.
**I also eat an organic diet (no extra hormones in my dairy or meat!), if that makes a difference.
**I regularly eat Stonyfield yogurt for the probiotics - keeps you healthy in the winter! So far no colds or viruses! *knocks on wood*
**I've read on another board about juicing and drinking a lemon once a day. I'll be adding that in this cycle (yum?). They also recommend Geritol, but I think with all my stuff I am good on the vitamins!

**Other. I do use Pre-Seed as needed, and highly recommend it if you have CM issues (from Clomid or whatever else). CVS sells it OTC and you can buy online.
**I do lay on my back with hips elevated for 30 minutes after BD'ing. Hey, why not?
**It's also important to make sure YOU *enjoy* BD'ing time as well. If you O after your partner does, your cervix helps pull sperm up into your uterus.

I've been taking those supplements since three cycles ago. It takes about that long for them to affect your eggs, so it's not an overnight remedy. Here's hoping that I can meet some good conditions for this next cycle!

There was a thread on this a few days ago. It's probably on page 2 or 3.

This is a myth. Masters & Johnson did a study to track the "up suck theory" and they proved it to be false.

great list! I've been debating on starting the B6 and soy, but my doctor seems to think a prenatal, and extra folic acid is fine for me (sigh!).

I have tried lots of things But this cycle I'm not really doing anything special just because I don't feel like it hehe. But I have done clomid, metformin, femera, soy, prenatals, extra folic acid.

Yeah. I thought the same thing as you and seems to be logical. I was a little disappointed when I watched that TED video. Oh well.

I also eat almost entirely organic when I can. Eating out is tough, so I don't do it very often. I <3 Whole Foods.

I just do prenatals....I was going to try cutting out caffiene (I drink 1 soda/day) and really can't do it, Caffeine free soda sucks lol

Maybe the whole "sucking the sperm into the cervix" isn't true but in the Shettles method book I read a long time ago it said nothing about pushing the sperm towards the cervix but rather the mucous or something like that after an orgasm makes it easier for the spermies to swim so they therefore have a better chance of getting to the egg...

I believe that is true. I remember reading that somewhere too.

I do cut out all caffeine/alcohol. And yeah, that sucks. I like the occasional glass of wine/beer and I love coffee. It probably only gives me a marginally better shot (especially since I don't go overboard on either caffeine or alcohol - literally maybe one glass of wine a month and one cup of coffee a day), so it's probably still OK to have those things. However, I have to cut those things when/if I get pregnant anyway, and it's just easier to do it ahead of time.

I'm also weird about artificial sweeteners. I use Stevia and honey where I can, and it's honestly as good as Splenda/sugar to me. That was my big New Year's push - cut out artificial sweeteners. So far so good!

I did read that about Shettles too. I think that might be a good thing if you have borderline dry CM issues. I really like PreSeed myself, but not everyone does and you might find you need to fix your CM rather quickly, and running to the store isn't an option.

Loving all the input! Apparently I'm the crazy supplements person on here.

Nah... You are up there but there are a few of us that are a little crazier! I have tried all that you are doing plus Clomid, IUI, trigger shot.

I gave up on it all and am just doing flinstones vitamins, Folic Acid, and DHEA. That seems to be the secret sauce for me as I have gotten pregnant twice with it!

I would suggest you take out the flax-seed. I am not sure but it sounds to me that it may counterbalance the soy you are taking. I also agree with you not taking the Geritol with everything else you are taking. However the Lemon water can't hurt.

I first started that last cycle, and that's the one I got pregnant on. They're two different types of phytoestrogens (lignans and isoflavones) so that's why I do both. If I stop ovulating on that, the flax will be the first thing I cut though! It does kinda taste like I mixed dirt in with my yogurt.

Here is a good recipe for bread using flax seed. I cut back on the artificial sweetener (if you are on not on a carb free diet you can use sugar instead)
