I just took an OPK and finally, it was positive. However, I'm on cycle day 20 and my cycles are generally around 28/29 days. Why is this happening? Is it still possible to conceive?

Is there anything I can do/ask my doctor about to ovulate earlier?

Soy worked for me the two times I tried it (and I got pg both times too!), but it's not for everybody. I know that you are not supposed to take it if you have thyroid issues, and for some ladies it has delayed their O. For me, it bumped my O from day 18ish back to day 13. Good luck!

You can try soy but you might want to talk to your doctor about doing clomid. Sometimes that can help you O earlier. It is still possible to conceive but if your luteal phase isn't 12-14 days it wouldn't have time to implant usually.

You can also ask your doctor for progesterone to take after 0 to AF. It will help lengthen your LP. You should really ask your doctor to do some basic testing ie: FSH and cd21 progesterone.

well since my d&c, my cycles have been either 28 or 29 days. So it should be due February 1. This is where I'm confused though, since I just got my + OPK, I'm not sure how that works into this all. I've been getting lines all week, just today they seemed to be as dark as the control.
