How do you ladies keep yourself from going insane and thinking you have fertility problems?? I keep trying to tell myself that I got pregnant with my daughter, and 4 years later got pregnant again(in August), which was my loss. But still, since I haven't conceived yet and we've been trying, I can't help but have these crazy thoughts race through my head. Plus with getting a positive OPK late (day 20), I'm having a hard time believing that I'm still ok. Is there something wrong with me??

I feel like I'm going crazy inside with all of this....

I am on my 3rd so far...d&c september 30, 2010, cycle in November, December, and January.

Also I should add, I had a bunch of my hormone levels tested last week and all was normal except for elevated Prolactin, which I've had for years but no one did anything about it.

What keeps pushing me forward is Hope & Faith. I know in my heart I will be a mom. I do have moments when I feel like I'm not fertile but these ladies here always make me feel better. Try to stay positive and I would see if your doctor will run some tests on you.

It is very, very hard to run that line between "is there something wrong" and "i hope there is nothing wrong." Depending on how old you are and how many cycles you have been trying since the losses, it might warrant a doctor's opinion on the matter. Often, they are used to women who have had losses wanting some extra assurance or care. If you are over 30 (I think) they will run tests at 6 months of trying with no success. If you are younger than that, I think they want to wait til a year. But who knows what your doctor might do. If you are really worried, call. Otherwise, give it a bit longer and see what happens.

BTW: We all feel crazy at some point

I should mention, I'm 32. I did go to the doctors last week and saw the nurse practitioner. She seems to think all is well and told me after 6 months, then we could talk about clomid, etc.

I'm debating on whether or not I should go in and see an actual doctor instead to see his/her opinion.

You have only been TTC for 3 cycles. If your hormone levels came back good then I would wait it out a few more. TTCAL is very frustrating and we all want it to happen NOW.

I agree with Missy. TTCAL is really frustrating, and like you say, it is hard not to give in to fears about infertility. But 3 cycles is totally within the normal range. If your doctor's office is willing to talk about treatment after 6 months, that's great. Hopefully you won't get that far though.

I understand how your feeling...i'm now on my 4th cycle since my last loss...It's never taken me longer than 3 cycles to get pregnant since I started having kids...The last 2 times I got pregnant were on my 1st and 2nd cycles! So i'm really worried...I'm not any help on anything else...I think if I don't get pregnant this month i'll be talking to my doctor about it myself.

I've been on both sides of this ("Am I infertile?" and then "*sigh* I do have a problem"). In all the research I've done, even a woman at her MOST fertile point in life, with no problems, the odds are against her getting pregnant in any given cycle at that time. It's a numbers game. For some people, you have to roll that dice more than once to get the result you want. IMO, three months doesn't necessarily mean there's a problem. If you do suspect one, you can always start charting to try to identify a potential problem.

Sending you baby dust so this journey isn't a long one for you. It's rough enough without these worries piled on too!

What keeps me going on is that one day I can see myself holding my rainbow baby. Although I know I have my age working against me. When I get down the ladies on this board help pull me back up and gives my hope back.
Since you have only been trying for 3 cycles I would wait for couple more cycles before I go back to the doctor.
