I was playing with my temps for the fun of it, and no matter what temps I put in for the next 3 days (as long as they rise) FF has me O'ing on CD 12, which is the only day I got a positive OPK...Yesterday I was in a lot of pain, so I thought maybe I O'd yesterday...Think it's positive that I O'd on CD 12? I should start my progesterone tonight, but i'm waiting one more day just to get an extra BD in lol...It just worries me if I did Ovulation on CD 12, and today is CD 14 that I should start my progesterone tonight (I was told to start it on CD 14 by my doctor's office)...I just don't know what to do

I would start it tomorrow just to be safe. I know that usually I have pain while Oing so I know that is when it is. I used to get mixed up while temping as well so that would be my suggestion

I don't think there's any harm in waiting on the progesterone. And I would go with O pain over temps.

You can get O pains before, after or during ovulation, they are NOT a good way to determine if you have ovulated or not.
Your post O temps in previous cycles was about 97.7, so it is possible that you could have even higher temps and find out you O'd today. I would personally wait until there was a very clear thermal shift before taking the progesterone.

When I was charting it seems like my temp never went up or down. Although I do sleep with my mouth open. I just gave up on temp. I would go more by O pain then anything. I get pain around O time. Good Luck this month Megan.

well my temp did go up this morning, but I don't think i'll get crosshairs till thursday...The thing with my progesterone, is that it's supposed to help with my mid cycle spotting, which has been happening at 5 dpo...If I wait till I get crosshairs, it will be around 5 dpo, so it will kind of void out the progesterone...I'm going to take it tonight...I'm pretty sure that i've already ovulated...My OPK's where almost white yesterday.

100% agree with this! I think you have a strong possibility of O'ing today..or yesterday. I was thinking with your previous cycles in mind as well. You should definitely have 3 days of thermal shift before starting the progesterone. Because you took in on the same day of O'ing last month it could of messed with your ovulation.

With that temp rise today, I think it's pretty safe to say you've ovulated now. Go ahead and start it.
