We got our doppler in the mail today, but my dbf is working afternoons this week, and when he gets home, Im already asleep, SO he brought it with him to my work at lunch break and we checked to see if we could even find the heartbeat, (In the parking lot)  Turns out even at 9 weeks we found it with no problem, right where I could feel the little bean moving on the weekend! It was beating away at 140 bpm. Go Bean Go!!

WOW AWSOME... what brand did you get?
I know most of them will not work until after 12 weeks.
I wish they worked at early as now because I still have the one I bough with DD.

sonotrax, cost us $200. But totally worth it, to be able to hear at 9 weeks!! I was fooling around with it after work and it was still around 140, then I felt 'something' and it jumped up to 174, lol Little guys getting a work out!

hehe It IS very sweet. My 13 yr old son was with him, and refused to go back to school until he got to hear it as well. lol Im not sure which one of them is more excited about this baby.

Thats soooo exciting.....I also lived with my doppler at the office, at home, on vacation.....never left home without it! I was able to get it at 8w5d, but baby measured 9w2d....I must of checked the h/b at least 10x a day, lol! I was a pro at driving on the xpress way with the doppler in one hand, phone in one ear, and one hand on the stearing wheel.....its a wonder Im even hear at all......LOL! I rented mine from babybeats.com for 200 for 6 months....but I ended up paying for the last month cause I used it all the way to the delivery room....

I just ordered one off of ebay today for $60 w/shipping. It's a 3 mhz so hopefully it'll work.... I am just so nervous that one of the beans isn't going to make it.

Awww Lisa, I'm sorry you are worried about that! HUGS I have no advice, just hopefully it gets easier to believe how lucky we are, as more time goes by.
As for the doppler, mine is a 3mhz as well, should be perfect!

wonderful news! it will REALLY help put your mind at ease. i think OB's should GIVE them out to anyone who has had a loss.
