What does everybody do "in the real world"? I'm always amazed at how many different things the ladies on JM do.


Right now I'm the lead GSA assistant at work. I handle diplomat's and ambassador's overseas moves from beginning to end. Right now it's super slow but in another 2 months I will be handling about 200-300 moves. I'm also the sergeant of the reserve part of our police department.

I always say I'm a SAHM but I really am a WAHM. Before being a mom I was a hairstylist. Now I work from home at an online job for a company called Lionbridge. I set my own hours and it's been a huge blessing for me and I'd love to give anyone more info if they are interested (I get nothing for referring, just like to tell people about the opportunity because it's so great).

I'm a SAHM, but I do make and sometimes sell my own soap (the old fashioned way, with oil and lye!). There's some stuff going on that's keeping me from really putting forth the effort on my soap business, but I plan to get it off the ground eventually, especially since me giving out soap to friends and family has gotten a little out of control!

I am a web developer at SolidWorks (3d CAD software company). I do database work and programming.

My official title is Senior Manager of Operations and Client Relations. I work for a marketing company and have been in marketing for 15 years now. I work remotely (from home) 3/4 of the time and 1/4 is spent with clients in meetings and working with our staff.

I have worked for a few different companies working from home and you have to learn to be accountable for your work. Others that go into the office everyday do not understand that you probably work harder being remote. I feel I get more done in half of the time as I do not have the distractions of people walking by my cubicle talking to me ect...
