ok so I have gout...yay that makes me sound old. lol but during "that time of the month" last month it acted up and i ended up at the hospital..well i got a prescription for anti inflamitories for when it acts up. I cant take them during pregnancy..so what do i do?? its acting up today...do i tylenol and water it or do i take the chance??
we are in the 2ww
I soooo want this to happen this month.
what would you do?

did they give you allopurinol or colchicine? I'm not sure if you can take them during pregnancy. BUT, it's so early, if you need the anti inflammatories, then I say take them or try tylenol.

nope, neither its called teva-indomethacin
i think i might tylenol it til monday and go see my reg. dr.
or wait til tuesday when i go see my specialist for my blood clots

Can you call the hospital that gave you the script and ask a nurse if it is ok to take? I hope you feel better soon!

I would go to the ER and see if there is something else they can give you. I can't see where it would hurt this early taking what you have but if you don't feel comfortable the ER should be able to give you something you can take while pg. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.
