What did you do with the top of your wedding cake? Ours is sitting in the freezer for the tradition of eating it on our 1st anniversary but I am thinking that it will go bad and be nasty by then.
What did you do with yours?

We froze ours and ate it on our 1st anniversary. I wrapped the cake itself in 2 layers of aluminum foil, put it back in its box, and froze it. It actually turned out pretty tasty The dogs liked it too

We went back to our honeymoon place for our first anniversary in Cancun and brought the cake top with us It was my carry on lol. When we got there we put it in the freezer in our room and on our anniversary at it in bed lol.

We froze ours, but then we moved to another town and had to stay with my mom for about a month..It was impossible to keep, so I think he threw it out.

We were going to put it in the freezer and wait until our 1st anniversary, but that thought lasted until the day after the wedding when we decided we wanted to enjoy our delicious cake without fear of freezer burn. It was gone 24 hours after we were married. I'm glad we did it that way, because it was GOOD!

We had cupcakes instead of a cake. My wedding was very bizarre.

We froze ours and ate it at the one month from our reception date. We eloped then did a reception a couple months later. And we were moving so keeping it wasn't an option. It was tasty after a month and splatted in the face well .

We wrapped the cake in aluminum foil couple of times. I am hoping this helps keeps it. We plan on taking it out a day before our 1st anniversary.

Well we froze ours for my dh grandma (she couldn't come to the wedding). The bakery where we got our cake actually baked us a new little cake for our 1st anniversary.

We ate it on our first anniversary. It had been well-wrapped, so it tasted great!

We froze ours . . . actually my Mom froze it and kept it in her freezer. We forgot all about it until she pulled it out for our 1st anniversary. It was surprisingly still good! I didn't think it would be after a year in the freezer, but my Mom had it wrapped up pretty good I guess.
