My hcg when i got preggo in april was low after 5 days of getting positive tests. 46. This time I got my first true possy today, but i got sketchy ones days ago. My level is only at 30 today. I'm so concerned that I will miscarry again. Any hopeful words?

The first draw doesn't really tell you much. I started with 48 last time and then it went to 89 then 400 something. My HCG was not the reason for the loss at 12 weeks with a heartbeat at 7 weeks. Early HCG is low and rises like crazy. Hopefully they will do more draws to tell you that the numbers are doubling. I think my first child also started out low, but I didn't know much about all of that then. Good luck.

Like Jess said your first draw doesn't mean too much. They should do another draw at 48 hours and the numbers should be doubling I hope that this is your sticky BFP!

Yep, like the other's said, you can't count a whole lot on one number for HCG levels. The first draw really means nothing. And if you think about it, your first "sketchy" test could have been picking up as low as 8 HCG (I had a digi pick up 10). So if it doubled from 8 to 16 in two days, then it should have doubled from 16 to 32...so you might be right on track for your stage of pregnancy. It all depends on what the next number does. Good luck!

I agree with the others. It's not so much where you start as it is where it goes...good luck and make sure they take another draw!
