Stupid FF. I have three days of high temps, my CM is updated, so where the freak are my crosshairs?!? I was so excited to input my temp this morning, and nothing. Why not? I tried raising that last temp just to see, and I tried putting in a couple fake temps for pre-o, and nothing gives me CH. (I removed all the tweaking I did, my chart is accurate now.) What gives?

Yeah sometimes you have to input a few days worth of temps before it will finally give them to you. It can be VERY frustrating!

I just tried playing with it a little more. It gave me CH when I typed in *two* fake pre-o temps. I just put 97.2 since that's pretty much what all my other temps were. Weird, I thought for sure I had enough pre-o information for it to give me CH. Oh well, whatevs, I know when I O'd.

Wait. Now I'm confused. I thought it considered ovulation the first day of raised temps. It has me marked as the day before my temp spike. I really need to reread a charting FAQ, 'cause apparently I've forgotten how to do this. I would have put myself at 2dpo.
So... Ovulation happens, then your temp raises. The corpus luteum doesn't produce progesterone until after the egg has left the building, which is what raises your temp. So it's saying that I ovulated sometime between when I temped CD 19 and when I temped CD 20, with odds being I O'd CD 19. Is that right? I'm sorry, I'm so not good at this anymore.

Yep, you need to ovulate before your temp will rise... so FF will always mark the day before your temp spike as O day

Wow. I wonder when I O'd Thursday. We didn't DTD until 8:30pm. But we DTD about noon Wednesday, so either way, our bases are covered pretty well
2WW sucks!

Yeah, like, "Oh! I just ovulated! Let's hurry up and BD one more time just for that little extra push!" Man, that WOULD be nice. It'd also be nice to know if one actually got to the egg, and if the little one implanted, right away. I've heard someone say something about different pee colors... A rainbow of multicolored pee so we never have to wonder! Fantastic!
