We went today to do my pre op stuff today for my surgery on Thursday. I have never had surgery before so it was all completely new to me. I went to my ob and he explained what he would be doing. I really like him but he is so awkward. It is kind of funny. Then we went downstairs to do all the hospital check in stuff. They took my weight and blood pressure several time and asked me a million questions. They also took like five vials of blood. Then they put the hospital bracelet on me and said I had to keep it on until Thursday which I thought was so weird. The whole process took forever. I just want the lap to be over with.

The ob told me no sex or anything in my vagina for two weeks after the surgery. I laughed at the wording he used. It just cracked me right up! He also said that he wants us to wait until March to start trying again. So AF is due the weekend before Valentine's Day then I will give my body one more cycle to heal then we will start trying again.

I'm glad everything went so well. And your doctor does sound awkwardly funny I hope the surgery goes great!

Glad to hear your pre-op went well. And I agree but at least your doctor can make you laugh I hope your lap goes well and I can't wait to hear your outcome from it. I know my doctor gave me pictures of inside of me after my HSG/LAP/Endo removal and I still have it lol

I hope your lap goes well as well. After my surgery my doctor told my husband in the waiting room full of people "please let your wife know not to insert anything in to her viginia for two weeks" lol
