Is anyone else getting hit by this blizzard? How much snow are you getting? We have gotten over 6 inches this morning and it is still snowing like crazy. They keep upping the predictions 12in-18in . . . now 25in! I'm just hoping we don't loose power, but I've got a fireplace to keep us warm at least.

Horray on having a fireplace! When I lived in GA one year we lost power for 4 days in an ice storm. We were sleeping in our cars to keep warm and during the day I was bringing the boys to the grocery store to walk around and get exercise. A fireplace would have been awesome!

All of you in the storm, take pictures!!

We got some ice throughout the night but nothing yet today. It's supposed to start again here around 4. Stay safe!

My goodness Missy! A few years ago we had a big ice storm right after I had my youngest DS. I was so worried about losing power since all the houses around us were out . . . luckily we lived in the right part of the town and only lost it one night. Our friend just a few blocks away lost it for over a week. Dh made sure we had a fireplace when we bought our new house!

We had ice this morning but right now it's not doing anything. We are supposed to get more ice as the evening and night goes.

I don't know how much we got, over 6" I'd say. I also have some killer icicles on my house, about 4ft long. We easily have 4ft of snow in the yard. I hope all of this melts gradually or there's going to be a lot of flooding in this state.

We are getting a blizzard here today. We've got quite a bit so far and there is more to come. Thankfully it doesn't look like it's as bad here as they thought it was going to be.

ya, it's snow here now, has been all day. I think we got about 6 inches, we are supposed to get another storm over night, they are saying anywhere from 1-2 feet. I know this is New England and I shouldn't complain, but I am so tired of shoveling.
