I'm so tired of the 'same **** different day' that is my life. I've been closing almost exclusively all week. Often leaving before my husband is home from work and not getting off until after he's gone to sleep for the night. How the heck am I supposed to get pregnant if I'm just never home to do it? I'm so frustrated right now. I don't hate being a retail cashier, but I do hate planning my life around a meager minimum wage job instead of planning my job around my life. This is not worth any amount of money to put up with, minimum wage or not. I need a new job. Not just another cashier position. A real job, a career. Something I could retire from. A job where I can work the time of day I want to work in. I need a job that keeps my mind busy and not just my hands. Lets face it, cashiering isn't all that of an intellectually stimulating environment. I find I actually like my job more when I work mornings. If I worked almost exclusively mornings, I probably wouldn't be feeling this way. Above all, I just want to be a mother. I feel like I'm being denied the one thing I need and want. I don't have too much more of this waiting left in me. My patience is wearing thin.
if you read all that.. thanks for reading and putting up with my whining.

I'm sorry. I just went through a period of what my dh calls "I hate my life." He's away with work and I won't see him until April (military), and I was alone to find a big BFN and had AF start on the anniversary of our mc. Now I get to wait until April! I'm so through with waiting too! Hopefully you will get things figured out soon! In the meantime feel free to rant on! HUGS!!

Kira I am so sorry your having to go through that with your work. Have you thought about taking night classes or looking for another job somewhere else? I hope that you get a sticky BFP soon and you don't have to work anymore. I know there have been so many days I have wanted to walk away from my job but can't because my dad works there . I hope things look up for you soon hun.

I understand your feelings of discouragement. Though I have a career(teacher), I still can honestly say that this ttc business has overtaken my life. It feels like its all I eat, sleep, dream about.
Sending you hugs!

I'm sorry you're feeling frustrated, Kira I think you should take a jump into a new career, or a new job at least. TTC is hard enough without being unhappy with the rest of your life.

Thanks ladies. I just need a change. I am considering going back to school, but not sure what I want to do. I have so many interests.

In order of obsession to just hobby:
Aviation and animals and art are my favorite things to do and be around.
I'm learning photography (not through a school, just reading books and articles) and loving it and it is gradually becoming an obsession.
A hobby is massaging. I've been told I've got magic hands.
I've got an open mind for the most part. There are classes in all these fields available at nearby community colleges. What I'm thinking about doing is signing up for a few different classes or at least sitting through a couple to see what I want to do and what I feel best about.

A friend of mine is a photographer and she loves it she makes pretty decent money to. She just had a baby and it is so nice cause she can work pretty much when she wants. She does do a lot of weddings though to which are usually on weekends (just saying cause some people wouldn't want to give up Saturdays.

I'm thinking pet portrait photographer. There's a lot of pet loving people out here. I'm also thinking about professional aviation photography.
