I can't believe it. I got a smile on my opk this afternoon. I have been testing with OPK's like crazy since Sunday. With all the cramping I have been having I thought for sure I missed it since I haven't gotten a smile. I am so happy that I got a smile. When I saw the smile I yelled out I got a smile. Dh's mom just looked at me like I was crazy.
Now that I got my smile I have a question. This is the first time I have used opk's. Since I got a smile on my opk does that mean I am ovulating now or will be ovulating in the next couple of hours or days?

Yeah, best bet is to BD for probably about three days in a row (including today), trying to space it out in as even 24-hour intervals as possible if you have plenty of EWCM and if DH's spermies have normal counts/motility/etc.

Stacey you usually ovulate between 24-48 hours after a positive OPK. I would start now and BD for the next few days Go ravish DH now!

I wish I could get dh in the house. I am so mad at dh right now. He outside working on the tractor. When he came in for a drink of water I told him that I got a smiley face and that I should o any day now. He just looked at me. I said don't work to hard outside so we can bd and he said didn't we just bd yesterday afternoon. It makes me so mad. I finally got a postive opk so I know that I ovulating and I don't know if we will bd.

Stacey, when DH used to feel "used" lol for his services I tried to entice him. I know living with his mom will make it more difficult but maybe try putting on something sexy right before bed

Like Katie said, men can pretty much always be convinced if we go about it the right way But even if you don't DTD until tomorrow, if you've been having good, fertile EWCM that his guys from yesterday can survive in, tomorrow morning would be fine Couples where the man has lower-than-normal sperm count only DTD every other day and they get pregnant! So if you can't convince him tonight, then don't stress it, just go another round early tomorrow.

Thanks Ladies. I am going to try my hardest tonight to seduce him. Since both of us have to get up at 3:30 am it will be hard to do anything in the morning.

Just come straight out and tell him that you need to have sex today, tomorrow and the next day and then you will leave him alone for the rest of the cycle. But if he wants to try to get you pregnant then that is what he needs to do.
Men think differently than us, they are simple minded. I remember that blank look on my hubbys face the first time I was jumping around telling him I got a smiley face. - Priceless.
Don't back down on this Stacey - just gently tell him this is what you need him to do for you.

Some women ovulate within hours of getting a positive OPK, so tell him he needs to get busy now. Go out and seduce him if you have to.
With my last pregnancy, I'm pretty sure that I actually ovulated early the next morning after I got my positive OPK, but FF wouldn't give me crosshairs for that day because I still had a positive OPK the next day. Every other sign pointed to ovulation when I thought it happened, though.
