I am so confused. Yesterday afternoon I got a smiley on my opk. When I tested again last night I didn't get a smile. Does that mean I already O'd?

I never really paid attention to when I o'd before this cycle so I don't know if I have short LP or not. I am guessing since I just got the smiley face yesterday afternoon that I have a short LP. If I o'd yesterday that would mean I o'd on CD 19.Is this normal? Every site I looked on today for o dates they all said I should have o'd at the end of Jan.

I am scared that we might have missed the window to catch the little egg.

You have an LH surge about 24-48 hours before you ovulate. So having a positive yesterday that means you should be ovulating today or tomorrow. Your LP is after you ovulate and should be 12-14 days. Stay positive hun. I hope you catch the eggie!

Agree- possibly Oing today. You typically get the positive test when you have a surge then you ovulate 12-36 hours after, depending on your body. So get to BDing!!!!!

I agree with the other girls that you may be O'ing today. If your cycle is 29 or 30 days and you O'ed on CD19 or CD20, you might have a short LP. But you could be having an odd longer cycle (and wouldn't expect AF until around CD34). The only ways to really know when you O are a 7 dpo progesterone test or charting your BBT. So if it looks like you might have a short LP, you could try one of those.

Nothing new to add, just saying don't worry yet Maybe it's normal for you to O on CD 20 and you have a short LP, or maybe you normally O a little sooner but you O'd late this time and will have a longer cycle. Guess you just have to wait and see -- it's the name of the 2WW game!
