Ok ladies. I don't have a lot of female friends IRL. I know right now there's a lot of BDing going to with TTC. BUT if you weren't / when you aren't TTC how often do you actually DTD? The few people I've asked IRL have mostly been men and who knows if they're telling the truth! 
Yes, I'm wondering in my sex life is "normal"

When dh is home I initiate at least every other day and let him initiate if he wants it more often. Since dh has been gone a lot this year, we dtd every night but most of the time I only see him on the weekends.  I've been married 10 years and we've had our ups and downs when it comes to sex, but I think we are finally seeing eye-to-eye.

Every other day. If it was up to my husband it would be every day, but that's too much for me. We've been together for 16 years.

I'm pathetic - it is about once a week.... He takes more, if he can get it!!!! Needless to say my DH loves TTC!

Once or twice a week...What is BDing by the way?
When I got pregnant for Gabriel, we had sex everyday that month because there is an old wives tale that it will be a girl if you do...well that didn't work  DH could probably go weeks without it though...I'm the one that wants it.

We would probably DTD only once or twice a week. Neither of us seems to have a super high sex drive, and we get lazy about it

"Bed dancing" one of the many acronyms I refuse to type because I would never say it in real life since it sounds so lame (no offense meant to anyone else).
I couldn't figure it out at first, so I had to ask too. My husband guessed "back dooring", which, while amusing, didn't seem to coincide with the TTC part.

2-3 times a week. We have a 1 day on 2 days off thing going on..lol
I would be happier with maybe once a month..lol

BDing= baby dancing- sex with the purpose of TTC.
Now we are probably 1 to 2 times a week when not TTC. A lot depends on DS. Before DS there were times the only time off was when one of us was to sore or AF showed.

We usually DTD 2, maaaaybe 3 times a week when we're not TTC. Although I'm 8 DPO today and we haven't DTD since our last "try," but it's because I just started school and I'm exhausted, AND I just got sick. That's not normal... DH is goin' nutso! We usually do take 3-4 days off after our last "effort" though, and we never DTD when I have AF, the thought freaks me out.

Jan. 2009: Came off years of BCP and started TTC
March 2010: BFP -- finally!
Oct. 22, 2010: Drew is born, but has to stay in the NICU because of cord complications resulting in oxygen deprivation and brain problems =(
Oct. 27, 2010: I held him in my arms while Daddy, Grandma, Great-Uncle and I sang him to sleep =( Hardest thing I've ever done...
June 14, 2011: Drew's baby brother or sister waved hi to us with a BFP!
June 25, 2011: Natural miscarriage... Can we please catch a break here?
Nov. 2011: 100mg Clomid followed by 2mg Estrogen, Ovidrel trigger, and 200mg progesterone suppositories 2x/day 14 days. BFN.
Dec. 2011: 2nd medicated cycle. BFN.
Jan. 2012: Took a month off to breathe...
Feb. 2012: Same regimen of Clomid and other meds, add IUI. 2 eggs and 8.5 million swimmers. BFN.
March 2012: 75 IU Follistim CD 3-11, follie scan CD 8 showed 6 follies likely to mature. Triggered, IUI on CD 14, 4 million swimmers. BFN.
April 2012: 75 IU Follistim CD 3-10. Scan showed 2 mature follies, 2 almost certain to mature, and two not likely but possible. (All 6 evenly and perfectly spaced out between the left and the right.) Triggered, IUI CD 13 with 5 million swimmers. BFN.
May 2012: 75 IU Follistim starting CD 3. Waiting to O. Timed intercourse. Likely 5 follies to mature.

The month we conceived our angel baby we werent Ttc and we had sex 2 times that month. Now that we are ttc I make sure we get it every other day atleast

For us it depends on where I am in my cycle. LOL
When I'm on my period, once or twice that week (not on my heavy days anymore).
The week after my period, usually 3-4x/week
The week I'm O'ing, a couple times a day most days, if not once a day
The week after I O when I'm starting to get PMS'y, 2-3x/week
Some weeks are different but it depends mostly on me. My dh is always ready. If I wanted it three times a day he'd give in. When I'm O'ing I'm hornier. LOL He likes that week.

We both have extremely high sex drives, so we are not normal to the other end of the scale. lol. Generally (whether actively TTC or not) we DTD daily...sometimes more often. On good days 3-4 times a day.  The only time we don't is during heavy AF days (mainly just because I get HORRIBLE cramps).
