That pic is about a year and a half old, but it is the most recent pic I have of myself alone.


1- I love Vegas. Everything about it. The traffic, the people, the weather, everything. I'd move there if I could talk DH into it.
2-My favorite color is bright blue. It has to be brriiiiight blue. Not quite neon though.
3- One of my favorite foods is barvarian bratwursts
4- My favorite band is Incubus. Brandon Boyd's voice has such a calming effect on me.
5- I am addicted to reading. I love to read. I can spend hours in a bookstore, or even at an online bookstore.
6-I love Victoria's secret in the garden scents. Pure Seduction is my favorite.
7- I'm a lazy person by nature. If I can let it go, I usually will. (cleaning wise) until the last possible moment.
8- I love horror movies. All time favorite genre.
9- My favorite movie is Ghostbusters
10- Shoes are another of my guilty pleasures. I own too many, and still want more!

8. Our couch is big enough that my six-foot-tall husband and I can spoon on it, and he can stretch all the way out.
9. That couch and a TV were all we could fit in the living room of our first apartment -- 500sqft 1br/1ba in a seedy little neighborhood for $1,100 a month.

Anyway - I'm not posting a picture of me...the closest I'll post is the pic of DH and I in my GOTW thread...since no one really knows we're TTCing, except for a few close friends. :-)

But....

about me.

1) I love to read! (seems a lot of us do!). I read everything from non fiction (my favorite) to fiction, although I really don't like romance or mystery. Blah. I even download audiobooks and listen to them while I workout.

2) I also love to run. LOVE to run. Been runnning since I was 12 and even spent about 5 of those years doing ultramarathon running (anything over 26.2 miles). Did 101.2 miles in 24 hours about 10 years ago.

3) I also love to cook, especially bake. A recent realization of a wheat sensitivity has put a damper on my love of breads, although I'm having fun with gluten free breads, and just dealing with the aches and pains of eating too much wheat when I just really want it

4) I am a holistic health, wellness and nutrition nut. I always wanted to be a doctor, but now know that western medicine and my views are not always in alignment, and I prefer eastern/holistic concepts for most things. BUt not all...western med exists for a reason!

5) I plan on becoming a holistic health practitioner as soon as I can afford the tutiion...(i.e. get a job!)

6) I am currently not working, although employed on an on-call status from a major consulting firm. I'm a project manager by profession.

7) I only realized that I deserve a baby of my own in the past year.

8) I have three dogs but am really a cat person. I had lofty plans of becoming a crazy cat lady but marrying my allergic husband destroyed that plan...

9) I have really strong intution and base most of my decisions in life from that...regardless of what "factual" evidence is around me. It has never steered me wrong.

10) I have my undergrad in psychology, my masters in business and would love to go for my PhD someday as well.

1. I have a huge bug phobia, and the only way you'll catch me killing them is if they're near my kids and they're afraid. Then I automatically fear that all their little buggy relatives are going to come after me. Crazy, I know!

2. I'm a 4th grade teacher. I absolutely adore watching the a-ha moment that children get when they are trying to learn something. I hate that our current governor hates teachers so much and is causing me to rethink my career choice.

3. DH and I will be together for 15 years and married for 10 years in June.

4. I suck at drawing and often wish I was better.

5. If I won the lottery I'd have 100 kids. I love them.

6. I don't have a high opinion of myself... at all.

7. I really try to trust in God's plan and time, but I'm really struggling with it! I'm not the most patient person in the world.

8. October is my favorite month!

9. I've always wanted to go to Hawaii.

10. I am fiercely loyal to friends and family to a fault. I wish I had the power within me to sever the relationship with my sister, brother, and father who are eternal selfish f-ups and addicts.
