After you m/c, did you wait a cycle or 2? or did you TTC then very next cycle?

After all of my losses I tried again right away. My doctor told me that if my body wasn't ready it wouldn't get pregnant so there was no reason to wait besides dating the next pregnancy. Hugs.

After my first loss, I waited 1 cycle to TTC and got PG right away. I also lost that one (which my RE refers to as a chemical, even though it lasted longer than most chemicals....). I've had a bunch of ultrasounds and hormone tests since then, and in my uneducated opinion, I think my lining wasn't ready for implantation at that point. Now we will be waiting a minimum of 3 cycles - more if my RE has a good reason for recommending so - to TTC again.

Everybody's different, but I would definitely check with your doctor.

Everybodys bodies are different and so of course go with what your doctor says.

With our chemical pregnancy we did not wait at all. With our 1st loss we waited 1 cycle and with our ectopic we NTNP right away.

((Hugs)) I am very sorry for your loss. How are you feeling?

With the natural/chemical m/c's we did not wait. In fact we got pregnant right after a chemical/early loss with Spud. With the D&C we waited until my period came back.

I had a m/c on January 19th at 4 weeks and 6 days and I'm gearing up to O right now and we are TTC again. Honestly, even if a doctor told me to wait or I had been further along, we still wouldn't be preventing at all. DH and I are not a couple who gets pregnant at the drop of a hat, so I wouldn't be very likely to conceive right away anyway.

I was going to ask the same question. I went to the doc yesterday and he told me that i should wait 2 cycles. Thats what DF were going to do anyway. since we planned are wedding for 7-11-11 i want to be able to fit in my dress. He also said he was going to watch me really close when i do become preg. i dont know how i feel about that..

With my first m/c we had to wait. I had to have a d/c with I ended up getting a bad infection. With the two chemicals we didn't wait.

We were NTNP for the first couple. My cycles were bizarre. I had a period every 2 months. I figured 'well Im not ovulating anyways, so why bother protecting/waiting?' We didn't really seriously start trying until my cycles regulated themselves out, about 10 months after the miscarriage.

I had a D&C in November and we waited until my period came back before trying again. My doc said since my miscarriage was uncomplicated, I had the green light after AF showed. I am now in the middle of my 3rd cycle since then and I just don't think my body was ready to get pregnant in any of the previous cycles. Everybody is different, but I don't think I bounced back as quickly as some people.

We waited until my hcg was zero and I thought I'd gotten my period.

With my first loss I waited 3 months, because my dr at the time told me to, and I didn't know any better. I was miserable the entire wait. With my second loss we started ttc before AF returned and conceived DD. With my third loss I had to have a d&c. They told me to wait until AF returned and we did.

After my first loss, we tried again right away (and tried very hard with charting, OPKs, lots of bding), but didn't get preggo the first month. We did get pregnant the second cycle after the loss, but then I had another loss. We decided to NTNP after the second loss. This was mostly for my emotional well being because I'm terrified of another loss right now. I did a lot of research and couldn't find any evidence supporting the position of waiting to try again from a physical standpoint. We weren't planning on actively trying again until April or May, and we had sex only a couple of times this month, but I had a positive hcg a few days ago and am pretty sure I'm pregnant again.

Well.. I had to have 2 D&Cs so we kind of had forced waiting . My body had a super bad reaction to the 2nd D&C so we ended up waitin 3 months so I could heal .. We started again with MA treatments with my 3rd AF after the 2nd D&C ..
