Feb 10th, 2010 (prev. m/c ment)

A year ago today, I was 7 1/2 weeks pregnant. I was blissfully happy. Everything in my life was falling into place and although we weren't exactly trying to have a baby, we were so happy we were. I got ready for work, went to the washroom before I left and saw I was spotting. Scary, but sometimes can be normal.... Fast forward a few hours, I went to the washroom at work and discovered I was bleeding heavily. I went for an ultrasound, saw baby and saw the heart beat and the Dr told me that it was a 'threatened miscarriage." I should have clued in a little btter when they told me the baby was measuring a little small for dates, with discrepancies between sac size and baby size, but that was before the crash course I had in all ttc things related, from our very knowledgable JM ladies. (Thank you girls

) Anyways, the bleeding didnt slow, and I passed the baby the next day. Feb 10th. Ill never forget. My family was devastated and I was in a fog.
The ladies of ttcal helped me along my journey, to where I am today and I dont know really how I would have gotten through each day without you.
I didnt know I was going to be so sad this week. I think tomorrow is going to be more difficult that I realized. We will be lighting a candle for our little baby. Its amazing how much we miss someone who we hadnt yet had the opportunity to know. Only to plan, dream and hope for. I guess thats enough.

Tobi! Thinking you and please know that we are here for you. Anniversaries are always hard. I think it's sweet that your lighting a candle for your LO.

Big hugs Tobi. I think most of us can relate to what you are saying.

And this is exactly how I felt on my loss anniversary, I tried to bury my head in the sand that day but it didn't quite work out that way.

I didn't know I was going to be so sad this week. I think tomorrow is going to be more difficult that I realized. We will be lighting a candle for our little baby. Its amazing how much we miss someone who we hadn't yet had the opportunity to know. Only to plan, dream and hope for. I guess that's enough.

LOL Nicole, it sure is. Im absolutely positive that everything is going to be perfect. (Its the power of positive thinking!) yeah? Yeah right, lol its just deny deny deny any and all fears, as a matter of self preservation. I really cant wait til I can finally relax about this baby!
