I had Drew Oct. 22. AF came back ~7 weeks later. This will be my third real cycle "trying," and I've used soy as well as other stuff (FertileAid, pregnancy pills I got from Whole Foods) both of my previous cycles. I can't decide between giving my body a break this cycle or next. I'm not going to take any pregnancy medley pills, they have Vitex and other things I'm not 100% comfortable with the more I think about it...

So I'm going to keep taking a few vitamins and drinking my green tea, but I'm just not sure about the soy. Should I take a break from it this cycle or next? I like the idea of taking this cycle off because I haven't just given my body a cycle to do its own thing since Drew was born. But I like the idea of trying it one more time this cycle and then not trying it next cycle because by then all the herbal stuff should be out of my system and I can have a truly clean cycle. I'm also super curious to see what moving it to a different set of days would do for me. I'm pretty sure I'm leaning toward the latter, and next cycle if AF shows at the end of this one, seriously, honestly taking a break from the soy. I mean, we conceived Drew without it What do you think?

(1st cycle was 80mg CD 5-9, 2nd cycle was 160mg CD 5-9, this cycle would be 160mg CD3-7.)

I am not much help because I know nothing about soy. A break can always be good though so I voted for a break but I really don't know enough about soy.

Go with the cd 3-7 vs. 5-9 - I see more success in here with those days.

Also - do you really need the FertileAid? I took it last year and the only thing it did for me was give me constipation.

I quit the FA. This cycle I'm just kind of using a blend of vitamins, no herbs, no predetermined blend (except the Geritol). I'm at school now but I'm going to post later tonight or tomorrow what DH and I are using this cycle.

I decided I was going to go with whatever the survey said, and that I was going to cut it off when I came home from class, because that's when I'd take the soy. So, with whopping numbers of 4-to-2 , soy it is. One more cycle, then I'll give it a break for a couple cycles and see what happens.
