I'm enrolled in school! I enrolled at Paul Mitchell yesterday, and I start April 19th. I've been wanting to do this for over a year, except things kept coming up and getting in the way.

I chose Paul Mitchell because, I know a ton of people that went there, or are going there and they say that they are the best (in my town, anyway) I get government aid, and they have an awesome maternity policy. (The way i've been going, I've been feeling like it may never happen, but i'm still just getting started, so I'm not losing hope yet!)

Should I get pregnant, during my schooling when it comes time to take the leave, it's basically like pushing pause. I don't have to pay any extra money, redo any extra time, everything gets saved. Unlike the other cosmetology schools in town.

I'm really nervous though, because minus half a year in college right after I graduated in 2004, I haven't even really been near going back to school. And this is so much bigger than just high school. I'm excited to start, and this is just one of the steps towards the future that DH and I have planned.

(After I graduate, we'll move to Phoenix for a year, so he can attend the mechanic/car school he wants too there.)

Might not be rocket science, but besides writing novels it's what I want to do

Plus, it'll help keep my mind of off obsessing over TTC all the time!

Sorry, just had to share!

Nice! That maternity policy is WONDERFUL for cosmetology schools! I'm a hairdresser (or was before becoming a SAHM) and live in PHX, that is so funny! Anyways, good luck. Beauty school was soooo much fun!
