Ovulation test: negative (Though on the FR one, I can see a faint second line, so I think it's increasing. It has to be darker than the control to be positive.)

What FR? Are you using First Response/Answer OPK's?

Well, I have the CBEFM, but since I had 5 weeks of bleeding and no idea what day was my actual period start date, the monitor gave up on me around day 28. It's so fickle. I could have reset it again, but it makes you wait until day 5 to start testing and after two months there was no way I was going to miss ovulation.
Anyway, I had some older First Response OPK things, but it said to throw them out after 30 days because they were no good. I'd had them for about 5 months, so I didn't know if they were still accurate. I figured it was a marketing ploy, but I didn't want to chance it.
SO, I went to target and bout the CB digital OPKs, 20 for $37 (rip off!!). I found some for $20 on amazon, same ones, so I ordered them and returned the ones from Target.
Long story longer, these are the two I am using right now, but I only have one of the FR ones left.
If I fail to get pregnant this cycle, then I will go back to the CBEFM.

The Clearblue smiley faces are by far the best! second is the clearblue line tests.
Go ahead and throw away the First Response test, don't even bother peeing on it (did I really say that?!) They do not work. They are horrible. When I have compared them to other tests in the past they are wrong and give you the wrong O dates - I find them off by about 4 days so ovulation has already passed.

I agree about the FR OPK's...I bought some once and they were horrible! the internet cheapies were way better and a lot cheaper.

I have to agree with Missy. FR OPK's are terrible. I tried them and they didn't work. The Clearblue smiley faces are by far the best.

I hope it changes for you tomorrow Sam and you get a BFP! What kind of tests are you using this cycle?

AF showed early over the weekend to ruin my V-day plans....didn't even get the chance to test (not that I thought I really had a chance anyway). Good luck to everyone testing soon!

El-cheepo's for now.
I have some of the pink handled ic's and a ton of Wondfo's. I have 1 CBE digital, and if I'm feeling lucky toward the end of the week I'll pick up some more FRER's. But no EPS, or even IPS (lots of acronyms just tot drive people crazy!)

I tested, not because I thought that I could possibly be pregnant, but because my body has beeen going haywire the past few days and I figured I'd rule it out. ( I think my thyroid function is improving thanks to my acupuncture so my medication is too strong....but this is a good thing, although very uncomfortable).
I knew it would be negative since the two times I think I ovulated this month (the day that I'm pretty sure it happened, a week early and the day it was supposed to happen) DH and I didn't do anything. But wierder things have happened, especially in my life!
So it never hurts to check. :-)
