So this last cycle was a bust, and really got me down. I made an appt with my dr to see if they could give me an idea of what's going on. I was honest with him and told him that I wasn't sure if it's something physical going on since the D&C in September or if it's mental because of my 3 ever-growing pregnant coworkers who are due 2 days-2weeks of when I was, and my EDD quickly approaching and us still finding no success. He's sending me for blood work after O testing my progesterone, TSH, and Prolactin. Are these the tests they normally start with when they're trying to figure out what's going on?

Lori, those sound like a reasonable place to start.

If it helps, my initial fertility workup included
- TSH
- Prolactin
- Glucose
- Insulin (I think)
- 7 dpo progesterone
- HSG (hysterosalpinogram)
- a SA (semen analysis) for DH

And a lot of doctors test hormones (FSH, LH, estradiol, etc) on CD3, but my RE doesn't.

I agree with Nicole. And I'm glad your doctor is checking you to see if there is a problem

Lori - I would definitely ask for cd3 FSH bloodwork. Are you 35 or over?

Courtney! You're the best! Thanks ladies! Missy, I'm 30, and I'll be 31 in April. I'm already on cd8, but I'll definitely ask for the cd3 blood work if this cycle doesn't work out! What is the FSH testing for?
