sorry but i think im taking you up on the vent thing.
My husband, kids and i went to the grocery store yesterday. i dropped them off in front of the store, turn a corner to go park, and got hit by so moron barreling through to parking lot. my car is totalled and wrist poss fractured, anf b/w came back BFP last night, but this morning my numbers had dropped
the doctor is labeling this a 'traumatic m/c', probably because of the accident.
im trying to be positive, especially with how lucky i was my family wasnt in the vehicle, but this is so discouraging. when do i ever get to stay pregnant????? :'(

so, now im waiting to m/c, and have to go back for my wrist.

thanx for listening

What were your first set of numbers and what were today's? If they were taken close together it may not mean bad news.

Good Luck!

I'm so sorry. That's a lot of bad news in one day. Hopefully this is the end of the bad luck.

wow, i just realized how much of an ahole that first doctor was.
sorry, i ended up sleeping most of the day up until 24hr follow up appt
there is a crack in my thumb from how it hit the steering wheel/got hit by the airbag, and after finishing that the doctor went to find the nurse from yesterday about my b/w. She said that my first level was 41 and that my next draw (about 14-15hour later) came back as 40. and it is supposed to be doubling every 31 hours. she said it may just be my body's reaction to the accident, so they want to do more b/w but cant get it done until tuesday. she told me to get the 50 level clear blue tests, take one today or tomorrow and take one on sunday. that based on my current levels, a viable pregnancy would pop it positive by sunday at the absolute latest. the first one was negative.
she also said that more than likely the accident wouldnt cause a miscarriage (the shock to the system is more likely to do it than the actual accident)
thank you ladies for lending me your ears!
and neirher me or my husband have ever had too much luck medically (aside from our first pregnancy), but its such a different ball game with TTC than it is spraining stuff in sports, having reactions to weird things, etc. the bad luck TTC definitely hits harder

I'm sorry you're going through this. I'm glad your family wasn't in the car. I hope your wrist and thumb heal quickly and you get good news about your numbers on Tuesday! You'll be in my thoughts and prayers!

I'm sorry that people can be such a-holes (the driver and the doctor) I'll be praying for rising numbers and a sticky bean!

well i tested with the 50 test this morning, since levels should double every 31 hours, and its negative, still. then i threw it against the wall, so i say its broken. i really should have waited another day, but its really hard to wait. i curled up after that and just held my daughter close.
i will not cry, i will not cry, i will not cry *wipes away the **** tear* i will not cry!!!!!!
