Jennifer and I are in the Newlyweds TTC board together. She had her little girl yesterday morning and they found out that Kennedy has down syndrome and a small hole in her heart. Please include them in your thoughts and prayers!

T&Ps for them!
Did they have any idea the baby was going to have downs or have a chance of it? I thought that was something they can usually find out with u/s and stuff (not totally sure).
Anyway...Kennedy is so cute It sucks that they have to worry about the surgery and all of that. It is hard to see your baby go through stuff like that

They're in my thoughts and prayers! The same thing happened to a friend of mine in DD's PR. She had no idea until birth that her son had Down Syndrome and a hole in his heart. It was really hard on them, but little Luke is such a joy in their lives. She isn't on JM too much anymore, but I told her about Jennifer and asked if she could offer her some support having been there before. Little Kennedy is so beautiful! Great big to them!

HUGS... it must be so hard. But DS babies are such loving little souls. Our one daughter had a very high chance to be a DS baby. So I had time to prepare (even though she was born with out being Downs). I knew I would love her no matter what. But being prepared for it to happen.. and having it happen are two different things I know this. My prayers are with her, And Prayers for Kennedy Who is such a beautiful little girl! Soon her heart will be fixed and will be filled with love!
