My secret-I have gotten letters about 2 job openings,and would really really love for one to pan out! Both are promotions and raises, but at a different state agency. (I know not too exciting!)

DH and I both enjoy watching Spice World. And I still have their cd's and I sometimes drive around listening and singing along. Shhh!!!

I slept in until 11 today, then had cold macaroni and cheese, Pepsi, and chocolate chip cookies for breakfast.

I hope you get a promotion or raise or both Sam! My secret is sad so I don't feel like sharing it. I did start taking welbutrin again to help me get through this and I am really praying for a break for our family. Something good needs to happen soon for me not to have a complete mental breakdown.

elly - TTCAL can be really hard, we understand. Don't feel rushed into having to TTC right away. You can take a break if you need it. Sometimes if we are not mentally ready our bodies will not corporate. ((Hugs))

I agree with Missy. Take your time. Wait till you are not only ready to TTC physically but emotionally as well.

I posted about a minor surgery I have. I have a lump on my head. I decided that it is big enough it deserved a name. So, I have a lump on my head named Harold (AKA Harry) that is getting evicted. The secret is... I am so scared of getting cut. I have never had a surgery before and I am being a total wimp.

Missy, I hope that the Wellbutrin helps you get through the rough times. I really think that it's time for me to start seeing a therapist- the last couple years have been horrible for me and my family, too. Sometimes, it's really enough to break you. Hugs.
Elly- I agree that you can make the decision to TTC on your own time.
Maria, I hope your surgery goes great!

Missy, I'm sorry that you guys are going through so much right now. Money issues just suck. Is it possible for one of you to pick up something small on the side? I'm not able to work full time right now, so I have been picking up a couple days of babysitting, and I'm able to make $10 an hour. It's not much but it tides us over from month to month.
I have done therapy in the past. I used to have really bad social anxiety. I was on Zoloft for a year and did individual therapy for about a year, then went to a group for another year or so. I think the best thing I got out of therapy was practical ways to work through my feelings in the moment, basically coping strategies, I guess. Plus, it's nice to be able to vent to someone who's not really a part of your life. I wonder if you might be able to find a support group that's free of charge?
