I wish Monday would calm down a little bit. Anything and everything that could go wrong has went wrong.

Freezing rain. Should make for an interesting drive home. I saw a huge accident on the way in to work.
Also, both "Monday, Monday" and "Manic Monday" came up on my iPod. If only "I Don't Like Mondays" came on, I would have had a trifecta.

Mine is that the state taxes still aren't here! We got our federal direct deposited a month ago! Utah is soooo slow!
Hopefully they are here by Friday, so Dh and I can go out for a birthday dinner.

Pretty good day so far - biggest moan is that DH and I are scrambling to find insurance because this pregnancy was a very big surprise...and we are currently uninsured. Good times!

My mom is driving me bonkers. My sister is 17 and my mom just want to be her friends not her mother and my sister is going down a dangerous road.

Lisa, nursing. I'm working on my associate's degree in nursing at a community college, because ADNs make the same as BSNs, just BSNs have more opportunity to advance. At least that's how it was explained to me. So I'll get my ADN, start work and get healthcare and a steady income, take classes to get my BSN, basically just do what I can to slowly & steadily advance... I'd like to end up as maybe a nurse practitioner or a certified nurse midwife, I'm not sure... But even if I never progress beyond my ADN, I'll have a good job! Why is that interesting to you? Are you in school, or planning to go to school, or went to school for something similar?

Another moan...I feel so annoyed/depressed/nervous right now. Just found out my husband was turned down for one of the govt jobs he applied for. I just don't understand how he keeps getting turned down for this stuff when he is more than qualified. Meh.
